Rising in Rukognai, ripples in the water . . .

Prologue --  ( months prior to meeting Tenji )

The first stages were easily the most difficult and certainly the most perilous. The ambitious Lieutenant was not able to enact his plans directly and move right into the districts, political leaders, militia like factions and general citizens alike had all made it clear that they did not want anything to do with the Shinigami who had done them so wrong in the before times. But this opposition was not enough to shake the eyes of Yuroshima from the goal he had fixated their sights upon, attempting to live in the mode of viewing obstacles as challenges with reward of self growth he had merely used the resistance of his plans to fuel his drive to move forth with them. And move forth he did, marching deep into the districts with a crowd of Shinigami both from his own Restoration Corps and from Division Nine acting as escorts for their expedition.

The Veiled Lieutenant had ordered the vast spread of black clad soldiers and healers to avoid moving into the districts directly but instead to follow him into the smaller sections of wilderness between districts. His plan was to provide medical care to wanderers and citizens that didn’t share the opinion of the Rukognai majority until word got around of how beneficial the program itself was.

He then divided the large force he commanded into a couple smaller but still well sized groups lead by the most competent healers in his division and the best volunteer fighters they had been assigned, to go off from him in all four directions and do this same task in between other districts and territories, spreading the influence as far but yet not thin, as he could in the beginning.

Gaining Footing --

And separate they did, moving off into the four cardinal directions bringing with them a new form of hope and a new catalyst of savior, enacted by the veiled one who sought a brighter future than the bleak and unstable times that all the races now found themselves in. The enormous task force of this program, all selected by the Lieutenant himself, had journeyed weeks by cart and wagon as to bring enough supplies to last the long run, carrying with them the large black and white flags which displayed the proud symbol of division four, a sign of peace and restoration, even the people of Rukognai new the reputation of division four as largely non aggressive and caring. They had traveled week after week before splitting up into four groups, Yuroshima taking his out even farther to the forested lands, former districts, and strange shanty town style communities in the areas around Nahgistahd.. the only district Yuroshima had come across so far that did not mind the presence of Shinigami, or at least since the rebel militia of the area had been moved from there largely thanks to Yuro himself.

Their journey finally ended at a large hilly meadow between Nahgistahd and some other district which did not exist before the widespread poverty and famine, many freelance towns of this manor were springing up all over now that the ability to regulate such a thing has diminished. Either civilization was miles out providing a perfect net of both safety and range of influence simultaneously. And so, the lot begins to set up camp.

Yuroshima drops a large crate filled to the brim with canned vegetables down onto the soft grass below and grunts a moment, “Some one over packed some of these..” He thinks out of frustration a moment, “But I suppose that will be a good thing in the future..” He glances to his side to see his troops going about the required tasks to set up a strong and formidable camp. Shinigami after Shinigami lined up to grab whatever crates and bags and barrels they could in order to move them to their proper locations, slowly the strange ecosystem of supplies and spaces form as if each spot had already been decided on before they arrived. “Lieutenant!” A voice shouts to the veiled expedition commander who turns to see the smiling and confident face of Jim, donning his now infamous black bandana. “Yes Officer Jim.” He says officially. Though Jim was a higher rank he had decided to give one of the groups to tenth seat Avery Yasuke as he had simply possessed better leadership qualities, it should be said Jim was only two seats higher for possessing a higher combat capability and in all honesty, for his feats on the battlefield due to Avery’s analytical nature. “The others are unsure of where we should be putting the medical tents sir.” He explains. “Hmm..” Yuroshima ponders a moment looking around at the camp forming around him. “Well considering they will be holding supplies which others would try to steal, like medicines and anesthetics and what not, we should set them up dead center of the camps.” He pauses a moment, “I know I had mentioned on the way here that setting them up on the perimeter of the camp would be best as it would advertise the point of our camp but its honestly just too risky for loss, we will have to substitute advertising by putting all the restoration banners on the perimeter and some of the white canvas tents on the outskirts to explain to those passing by or those who come to us, what exactly we are doing out here.”

To this, the subordinate nods, “Yes sir.” He replies, before turning and running off to carry the directions to the others specifically working on the tent placements. Yes, this would work, soon many would be reached.

Orange and blazing, a large roaring fire pierces the black of night, surrounded by rocks and logs of all different shapes, the fire was roughly the size of a shed and was slowly being surrounded by some of the shinigami of the camp not busy with other duties who had come to socialize and relax for a while. At first they say nothing to each other, just awkwardly rest in silence and watch the gleaming wave of flame which gently stains the many large square tents surrounding it until one of them attempts at establishing a topic of conversation. “Well.” The brown haired man states, pushing his glasses up his nose, “Here we are, so far from the Seireitei this place feels like an alien planet to me, not doing our usual Shinigami duties, so that we can help people who hate us.” There is a brief pause, and a tension can be felt amongst the group before a woman with a sweet but low voice speaks up, “I think this is better than what we would normally be doing.” She states in response. “That’s just because your Division 4.” The man says back to her quickly, “I don’t do any of the cleaning duties.” She shrugs, “Im a high enough caliber healer to where most my time is spent on the medical bays. But also I think it’s good we are here, the reason of reestablishing relations with the districts in itself is reason enough for this to be considered important work.” There is a much longer pause after her words, the original man who had spoke is visibly irritated and leans back against a large smooth rock which he had placed around the fire himself. “I don’t know, I just feel like the Lieutenant is a little bit foolish for dragging us out here, there are many armies forming out this way with intent of usurping the Seireitei from us, they could just roll through here and attack at any time for our supplies.”

The debate continues as a young, boyish looking Shinigami glances to his side to see what he thinks is the outline of a figure standing in the dark just at the edge of the fires reach. Another soldier throws another log on the already blazing bonfire cause its light to flicker brighter only a moment, and gleam bright orange off the white veil of their expedition commander, the younger Shinigam is then able to make out the form of his Lieutenant, standing back and listening, arms folded across his chest as he ponders the discussion of his subordinates. The debate carries on for a small time longer consisting mostly of either side repeating themselves until eventually the irritation of both caused the talking to die down to yet again awkward silence, and this is when the anonymous spectator had chosen to step in.

Yuroshima strolls out to the group, standing close enough yet far away enough from them and the fire that they could all gather and see him if they had wanted. He calls out to them “Listen,” in a friendly manor to get their attention before beginning.

“I understand everyone’s concerns, being out here in the unknown surely is frightening yes. But the fate of the nothing awaits that which stagnates, and the fate of they who truly lived awaits that which understands, accepts and practices that life in essence is change. I say to you, Life and Change are literally one. Our Court Guard Squads had stagnated long ago, and as a result the crises which shook all realms of existence to its core ensued and our generation of Shinigami must be the ones to pull it back together with the counterforce of our will, realized through stronger ideology than before. Indeed our Court Guard Squads fell in stagnation and redemption of this will not be found in continuation of that, we must change to be beyond what we were, and change that which is around us to reflect the reality we want… that is what I am doing now, that is what WE are doing now. The first of the new Shinigami to venture out into the true unknown seeking change in its truest form for the greater good of the cause, for the greater good of the balance. I ask you then what possible objection could you conjure up to this that wasn’t based in your own anxiety and fear of the unknown? Beloved Subordinates heed these words, a fear of the unknown is truly a fear of life. But I am afraid of life no longer, and the Restoration Corps will be the force which carries the Gotei 13 back to the epicenter of influence and power with superior ideology. Take pride in the fact that we are the only ones out here, in the unkown.. and that we now have an opportunity to shape that which will become the known.”

Prologue –

Slowly, he grips the heavy flap of his large tent and pulls it back, revealing the sometimes sickening dull blue of the early morning as the Lieutenant steps out from his quarters and into his camp. They had been there consecutively for one month and while some minor complications had occurred nothing majorly bad had happened. Some had worried that their set up would make it far too easy for assassins to sneak into the camp and kill them in the night but none had tried as of yet. At first only a few people came every now and then, some ill some injured and they would be cared for and sent back, some requiring greater care were allowed to stay as long as they needed, anything to send a powerful message and assert their presence correctly. Yuroshima had refused to use his Zanpakuto aside from life death emergencies for two reasons, one was that he didn’t want to make it about him as a figure so much as about the camp as an institution and wanted to allow the people the story that they were able to stay and be well cared for when they returned to their communities, and secondly because he wouldn’t always be here to act as a magic wand, he had to keep his subordinates sharp.

There had been talk lately of a few isolated attacks on Nahgistahd from some neighboring village that used to be a part of the next district over. Apparently it had grown so different in its culture after the crises that it had been able to culturally secede. According to the patients that would wander in injured by them, either through fighting or crossfire style wounds, they had named their near newly formed village Opalia.

Growing Pains –

Yuroshima walks through the decently sized town of tents and building like carts and temporary shacks which now made up his main camp. Seeing Restoration Corps Officers working on injured souls in tents or walking them from ne location to another brought immense joy to his heart, what a delight it was to see the talents of his subordinates being correctly utilized and not wasted on menial tasks as they likely would be back at the Seireitei. The Lieutenant laughs to himself gently a moment, he had been away from the Seireitei for a month and a half straight now and privately dreaded the idea of returning to the red tape, out here his subordinates trusted him and if he knew something needed to be done but would go against protocol he could stil make the decision to do it himself and it even be held up in some interpretations of the law as a survival necessity.

Finally he approaches a rather shabby brown tent resting at the foot of one of the small hills, a food tent sits proudly atop the hill behind. “Officer Jim?” The Veiled Healer calls towards the closed flaps of the tent. “I’ll be ready in just a moment sir!” The eighth seat called back in reply. “Today is a big day.” Yuro thinks as he stands straight with his back to his comrades tent. A Restoration Officer walks by guiding a citizen by the left arm, their right arm was slung up and heavily bandaged by even still beginning to turn a seeping dark pink in the center, soon to be red, the officer was guiding the soul in the direction of the surgical tents before looking to his commander and waving with a smile containing a mixture of joy and exhausted sorrow. Yuroshima waves back, indeed this month had been hard, but harder trails were yet to come.

Moments later Jim emerges from his abode tying his bandana tightly in the back around his head and in that moment, the Lieutenant realizes he had never seen Jims hair, or even possibly Jims lack of hair. “Ready to go?” He asks the eighth seat who smiles confidently, “Oh yeah, today is going to go great, I grew up here, you got the majority bandits to move out a ways, they already love us..” The Restoration Lieutenant nods to this, “Indeed.” He states as the two begin making their way to the northern edge of the maze of tents which encapsulated them. “But we don’t want to go into this with a feeling of it ‘being in the bag’ , so to speak. Although I do admit that with the points you’ve brought up and the many cases we have healed and nurtured the last month or so.. much is in our favor for this meeting.”

The two reach the cart gate and request the two opening carts to be moved aside for their leave. Yuroshima climbs atop a two horse supply cart and Jim takes the passenger seat. They could have used shunpo to get to Nahgistahd but there would be no point in using any spirit energy for what would simply be a 10 minute ride by cart up the road, plus the cart contained supplies for the village for a sort of bribe like effect. The Lieutenant grips the reins gives a stern jolt. “Hah!” He calls out, causing one of the horses to lurch slightly before they both begin moving at a moderate speed up the dirt path away from the hilly field surrounded by forest. The sun began to rise, bright and orange through the trees, sending sword like rays of light cascading across the two shinigami as they finally neared their destination. “You think these attacks from that weird would-be village of savages can be a talking point as to why we should be allowed into the town?” Jim asks as they begin to cross the town lines. “Perhaps.” The Lieutenant replies, “But only if he brings it up, we dont wanna make it seem like we are calling them weak, if theres one thing people in these parts can’t stand.. its Shinigami Supremacy.” Jim nods thoughtfully, “Why so early?” He asks a second question. Yuroshima waves to two citizens who he knew to be assistants or advisors to the mayor, “He said first thing this morning, so I wanted to make sure we were the first thing he dealt with when waking up.” The assistants of the Mayor lead them up to their masters office, and the meeting ensues.

Prologue –

He sits slouched forward in a tent foreign to the Gotei Thirteen. Reflecting on the meeting in his mind’s eye he stares blankly at the scarf like black cloth. “No..” The Voice of the Mayor states plainly and broodingly. “I’m sorry but I cannot accept an entire militant camp to just pop up in my village within days, especially considering how divided this Village is on Shinigami presence. I mean.. we don’t even call it a district anymore for the fact that that is title from the Court Squads.” To this the Veiled one nods. “I understand that aspect of it of course, but it’s not as if though we would be simply squatting on your land, we plan to implement valuable service a-” The Mayor Raises his hand. “Lieutenant, with respect to you for your position and prowess in removing much of the bandit groups from this reason, the people simply don’t care and largely don’t know about that, nor would they for service like this.”

Yuroshima shakes his head, “That isn’t the same, I was sent on a mission to battle them anyhow, it wasn’t true service and like you said the majority people didn’t even know of the events that day as a large portion of the town had been evacuated, but they would know about this. And this service is much different, this is health care, this is medicinal science and the ability to feel good or not die in a situation where had we not been here the patient surely would have passed.” His words bring silence, Jim merely standing uncomfortably behind, unsure of what he could add to the conversation. A ragged sigh escapes the elders lips and he slides his hand over the top of his thick gray dread locks. “I don’t know..” He half mumbles. “Surely the solving of nearly all your medical problems is incentive enough.” The Lieutenant attempts to tend the newly formed and small spark of the negotiation, “What of this newly formed community that broke off from the District next door? They’ve been conducting a series of attacks or so I’ve heard from the random that have ventured to our camps in search of real care… could our medical prowess not aid in this as well?”

The Mayor nods gently and silently, clearly pondering something thoughtfully; he raises his hand gently dragging his index finger across the corner of his mouth before sighing out once more, but more harshly. “No.. what we could really benefit from is those attacks not happening anymore period.” An uncomfortable vibe emits from the two shinigami as they glance awkwardly at each other, knowing all too well what would be asked of them next. “Were you to deal with such a problem im sure the Village could be convinced of trust in you.. over time at the least..” He finishes, answered only by a couple more moments of silence. “Mayor Keyante.. we cant-” Jim begins but is cut off by his commanding officer hastily lifting his hand in a stop motion, “In what way exactly would you want our help in taking care of this problem?”

“Not only do you and yours posses superior medical ability, but combat capability as well. Help us defeat them, and conquer them.” This was a larger ask than even Yuro had expected.. it was already uncomfortable enough the Idea of Shinigami meddling in the Districts conflicts in this specific slice of time where such a thing is a political taboo, but to literally aid one specific territory in taking the land of another? Those consequences and implications were far too deep. The Mayor can sense the Veiled Healers hesitation. “Let me explain something to you in regards to the nature of this situation. They aren’t a village or district or whatever you want to call it, not like we are at least. They are a large band of former gangs turned militia, criminals and savages who succeeded from their territory due to not wanting to follow all of its laws. They are proficient in combat due to their pasts, where as my people are simply meek and poor, there is much crime here but its all theft and robbery and its all meek on meek, they are not combat ready like our enemy. I mean.. the only reason that place hasn’t been labeled a new Bandit territory and enemy of the Court Guard Squads already is because its brand new, your likely the only agent of the gotei with rank that matters to even know of its existence, Lieutenant please.. if you helped us grab that territory, I would allow you space in our village, and the land we claim.” Yet more silence follows.

On the walk back Jim keeps glancing to his anonymous commander, “Sir you can’t seriously consider going through with this, I mean we can’t do something like this..” The lieutenant only stops him short however, “No.. this has to be done, I don’t like it but im sure of it. The Gotei 13 would only wipe this new territory out eventually anyhow once they learn of their presence which could take forever with their current level of involvement out here. There’s no reason not to use a natural event to aid in our influence out here by simply making it come sooner than later, plus its still new they are weak right now.. best to nip this at the bud.” His words make sense and Jim is at first unsure of what to say, “But.” He begins, “How can we help them take an entire territory without it being obvious to the enemy that we are Shinigami helping them, word gets out that we aided in a battle and the other districts may see it as us favoring these people, who knows what that could ignite.. fear is powerful..” To this Yuro nods, “Yes.” He states, “This is why I and the Shinigami I take will be disguised as mere rukognai citizens.” Jim frowns slightly for a moment, before returning his gaze forward, as the two walk back to camp. “I don’t know..” He states softly, “It feels ugly..” The Lieutenants voice doesn’t changes or waver, “Sometimes life is ugly, not every situation can be a perfect scenario, victory awaits those that play the hand they are dealt.”

Whatever it Takes–

That was days ago, and now the time was here as he finished recounting those events and wrestles with doubt in his heart, staring deeper at the black cloth in his hands before raising it to his head and wrapping it around and around leaving a section free for his eyes to see out of, it looks similar to the pristine white veil he usually wore but more ninja like in appearance. Taking a deep breath, he corrects his resolve and reminds himself of how greatly this will aid in his political advancement as well as the security of the Gotei and Rukognai, then standing and exiting the poor brown hide tent. The black veiled soul steps out onto the soft grass slowly beginning to shimmer of dew in the morning sun, the air is cold by the ground yet medium to warm from around the knees up and there is a gentle fog like mist over the field they were camped at which rested at the edge of a forested expanse which seemed to collect and hold onto this mist. The disguised Lieutenant, who had also concealed his reiatsu, sees the subordinates he had selected for this mission, dressed in rags as he was, their faces uncovered as they were not known anyhow, fear seemed to grip a few of them, for indeed there was no telling how intense the fighting would become.

Slowly the army collects at the start of the field, the target territory in sight at the other end before the wilderness begins again. “Are we ready!?” The Militia Leader in charge of the assault calls. Yuroshima takes a few steps forward and abandons all doubt, a true knight of the true cause for progress. He grips the large sheathed Zanpakuto, cloaked in a black satin like covering. “Then For the love of Nahgistahd! For the love of your families! And for the love of god!” The leader continues shouting before concluding with a strong, “Charge!”

And with that it began, the Militia rushes onto the makeshift village of criminals turned militant. A couple groups of guards begin shouting and running from the parameter of the territory. The Restoration Lieutenant takes a sharp turn to avoid this skirmish, the true battle of importance would be in the actual village itself. A portion of their force breaks off and begins battling and ultimately dispatching the guard groups while the black veiled Shinigami and remaining troop continue onward into the town. Yuroshima follows a group into the main streets where armed assailants rush towards them, one of them swinging their machete like blade downward towards the disguised Shinigami who blocks with his sheathe before swinging his upper body down and delivering a powerful back kick to the attackers chest. He hears behind him, the loud thud of a hard step and instinctively dashes forward then hearing the sound of a sword slashing through the empty air he spins around to see two men one who had slashed and the other now running behind. The first attacker raises his sword above his head preparing a powerful overhead strike as he ally draws nearer. Yuroshima responds by using Shunpo to rush the bandit he rolls, grabbing the man around the legs during the roll and forcing him to fall. The Lieutenant springs up upon reaching his feet, striking the bottom of his hilt into the second attackers throat while he advances.. incapacitating him, spinning around once more and swinging the thick end of his sheathe in a swatting tennis racket motion, he smacks the first attacker across the face as he stands. It was not enough to render him unconscious however and so the Restoration specialist wastes no time and leaps toward the target who is clutching his face, blood seeping through his fingers before receiving another hard crack across the back of the head, this one finishing the task.

He would not kill any of them, that was a line that he would not cross for this and didn’t have to anyhow. He was still under foggy legality of the Soul Society in his current actions so long as he didn’t end a life.. or at least the way he had interpreted it. He sees yet more bandits approaching from his front, but yet his own from behind. By now any Bandits and guards that had been hastily awaking to the chaos and getting ready for battle would be exiting the buildings, like ants where when appeared so did many more around them. The battle would turn ugly soon, or at least would have had it not been for the strategetic back up leg the Lieutenant had reserved for standing later if the numbers of bandits were greater than had been expected. He points his fist into the air, releasing a large ball of flame similar to Shakkaho.

On the outskirts of the battle, in the brush of the wilderness, Jim remains crouched in a bush, all directions behind him were disguised Shinigami and eager Rukognai citizens taking a shot at the role of warrior. Jim wears only a brown tunic of sorts and uses his bandana to cover his face as well for he commanded moderate fame in this specific region of Rukongai. Finally he sees the large flare shoot into the air from the shanty town of villainy. He rises briskly, unsheathing his blade simultaneously before shouting, “Its action time!” before swinging his blade in circles above him and crying out “Charge!!!”

And Charge they did, the second battalion, to help hastily conclude the first battle of Nahgistahd, and secure themselves a base of operations within its territories.

Salvatore made his way towards the districts these so called medical facilities had sprung up.Normally he would of used flash step to arrive quickly, however with his wounds that was out of the question.Instead he would walk, walk threw multiple districts an streets.Along the way he was met by many, some with looks of anger an disgust due to his shinigami uniform, others of hope, wonder, excitement etc.The fifth seat wouldnt pay no mind to any,his coston hooded top half f the uniform would stayed drapped over his face as he walked, taking in all the sights.Sights that consisted of thugs, poverty, hunger all things that tormented the districts. However he was also met by sights of joy, happiness, thriving business, all things that should the potential of the districts.Truly they were in a place of constant turmoil, the scale shifting back an forth constantly depending on the district an those who were in charge at the time.San had brought hope an current peace to his districts he governed over, when the times he was around. However even in his absence the tides began to shift yet again, something San couldnt let happen. He truly hoped that these medical facilities would not only bring supplies an care to his home districts but also military presence.Even if they werent military focused, the fact they were shinigami meant they were skilled an also would present a deterring effect to those who wished to start trouble.

As the fifth seat made his way place by place he began to gather some information,as he would speak to those who seemed happy at his sight rather then worried. It seemed the personal of these so called medical camps were led by squad 4 members. All who were led by a Vice Captain of squad 4,a person San had yet to meet or even know. However or whoever he was San could only feel compasion in the mans actions as it hit home, but on a bigger scale.San was looking out for his districts, not that he didnt want all of Rukongai to change for the better, his primary focus was his own,for now. However this man, this Vice Captain was trying to better all of rukongai district by district truly making a difference to the whole. No doubt he would be willing to move his facilities into San districts as it would help him reach his goal faster an it would be a hard accepted ideal. As San had already gained the districts trust an loyalty, from his days an current days as vigilante an now protector.

Now closer to the areas of operations  San had seen first hand the medical camps handiwork.People bandaged, some taking medicine, rations robust,an also less an less death an poverty. Not to mention some shinigami here an there doing there duties,as instructed by there commander. The sun had begun to set causing the sky to turn orangish red by the time Salvatore had made it to the main encampment. It was filled with a maze of tents, civilians entering an leaving various ones, some helped by shinigami some on there own will.Truly a sight to see in the districts normally filled with poverty an do what it takes to survive type attitude. The camp wasnt so heavily guarded or fortified, something that could prove dangerous but again they were shinigami in a fairly large number led by a Vice Captain. He would apporach the gates an be met by two officers who stood guard."Sir?,here for rebandaging?Sans open front of his top uniform showed his bandages so of course they would ask.He would remove his hood his eyes neon pink against his purplish blue skin, black veins instead of normal purple along his arms,as his top half uniform not only was hooded but also sleeveless."O...you dont look so well Sir......The fifths seats skin tone could warrant such a question, like he was plagued by a disease. When in fact it was his Zanpaktus who had caused the change in the mans look,Death an Darkness was something truly dangerous an powerful."No i am here to see your Commander, the Vice Captain,my looks are no more then a cause an effect....San would say as he placed his hand on his swords hilt, with a smile."O...sorry sir....may we ask your name an company?San would nod hearing the mans regret in his voice."No need to apologize i understand....I am the Fifth Seat of Squad 7,San Salvatore.

The guards would begin to open the gate while another one was signaled over, informing him to go find the Vice Captain of Salvatores arrival.San would enter the camp an continue to see the doings of the squad more up close an personal. They were quite endowed with resources, crates stacked in droves scattered threwout.Tents for all wounds, medicine an rations all labeled an staffed with dozens if not hundreds of squad members.San would wait amongst a large supply of what seemed to be various equipments inside crates."Sir while you wait would you like us to change your bandages, provide something for the pain?San would not accept the bandages but a few pain relivers would def help the constant pain he still felt in his chest.Again San was wearing a custom hooded, sleeveless top uniform;hood removed, an baggy black kimono pants,Zanpaktu placed on his right hip an a dagger zanpaktu strapped horizontally along his back at his waistline. His eyes neon pink, his skin purplish, veins of black ran up where normally would be ones purplish blue veins.

OOC - Nah description of the camps is good :)

The large white canvas tent which acted as the Lieutenants home away from home, on this evening contained a handful of spectators within its confines. The inside, which was simply a large round room, was lit up warmly by many lanterns which sat any multiple random locations all around the space..on the floor, on shelves, tables. A mattress of hay stuffed cloth lay in the further left hand “corner” with a dark wooden chest at the foot of it but the action currently was focused in the center of the room around a thick round table that had been made from a ridiculously large tree stump. On the tables surface were a couple lanterns, cups of tea and half finished biscuits alongside new and half smoked cigars containing varying mixes of tobacco and ken ken. However the main object of focus was the large map of the surrounding territories, littered with circles and marks of various colors. Gathered around this spread were the Restoration Lieutenant, his current right hand Jim, an unknown man in a gray robe, Mayor Keyante, and one shinigami who like Yuro had has his face concealed. The tent had grown hot, and so the Lieutenant now only wore the lower half of his Shinigami uniform, the upper half hanging down around it, and his veil. The group talked amongst themselves attempting to make sense of situations and plans to come. “We can’t worry about them yet.” Yuroshima states, his index finger tapping a violet circle on the map, “One thing at a time you know? Lets discuss that after we finish expanding my operations into Nahgistahd tomorrow.”

The elder nods to this in approval while taking a long thoughtful hit of his cigar. Suddenly the meeting is interrupted by the entrance flaps of the tent hastily being pushed aside as a Shinigami rushes into the room. “Sir!” he says in a raised voice before being visibly startled at the unexpected meeting. The sudden intrusion causes Yuro to lurch forward and roll up the map in haste, and Jim to shout out in anger and reach for his Zanpakuto, a look of terror and worry in his eyes but Yuroshima quickly places a palm on his shoulder, calming him slightly with the energy of Kan’Yo Na Hira. The Bandana wearing Shinigami appears ashamed and quickly exits the tent. “Jim.” Yuro calls after him gently, frowning behind his veil.. Jim had been very wound up and on edge since the war.. something awful had happened and the Restoration specialist was unsure of how to help him, With a hand on hip, his vibrant gray eyes, glistening behind his white veil lock onto the lower level Shinigami who had entered. “Im so sorry Lieutenant I shouldn’t have barged in I was just excited to finally be the one delivering messages and not just standing post..” he states timidly, “No no.” Yuroshima replies, “Its fine this time, just don’t enter like that in the future.” He glances to the Mayor and gray robed man, then back to his subordinate, “What is it you need to tell me.” He finishes. The Shinigami then relays the message he had been given, “Sir, the 5th seat of the 7th Division, San Salvatore has arrived at our camps in injury, he was specifically requesting to meet with you.”

To this the Lieutenant nods, turning to the others he states, “Well gentlemen we will have to conclude this just a little earlier than usual.” He begins pulling back up the upper half of his uniform and putting it on properly although not retrieving the white sleeves he usually wore under it and so both forearms were exposed, it was not for a poor reason that he had decided to conclude the meeting to go to this Shinigami, Yuroshima was partially aware that he had a positive and known reputation in certain regions of rukongai and saw such a fated coming together as an opportunity. He takes hold of the now rolled up map and ties a thin brown string around it to keep it bound for now, before walking over to his dark wood chest and placing it inside, locking the chest afterward. He walks everyone out of the tent, also not grabbing his Lieutenants badge, and then follows the messenger to the location of the 5th seat.

After some time, he approaches the crates where his visitor had been waiting. “Officer Salvatore.” He calls out in a glad tone, raising a hand in the hello gesture as his messenger then turns and walks away. He sees the 5th seat and a couple of his own Restoration specialists around him, then noticing San’s bandaged wounds and how they were not fresh. “Has no one given your wounds medical attention yet?” He asks in a confused and half irritated manor. “NO!” One of the specialists angrily shouts causing the Lieutenant to jump a bit and shoot him a look of confusion. “We offered to care for his wounds.. HE refused US!” The voice finishes, coming from a healer with short brown hair and thick black frame glasses, his hands ball up into fists and begin shaking. “Oh….” Yuroshima says, clearly taken aback by the reaction, “Alrighty..” He finishes. “Ewhuhhh.” The Angered healer murmurs as he stomps around the corner of the crates heading back towards the tents. He stops a moment when out of sight, under the cover of the crates and poses in a half squat. “Turn down our quality work..like we aren’t the best of the best..mother/...” He hisses under his breath. “MM! MM!” He punches himself in the cheek twice with medium force, creating a small slapping sound before he continues storming away.

The Lieutenant stares in the healers general direction a few moments longer, one brow raised behind his veil before turning back to San and breaking the now awkward silence. “Anyway..” He begins, “I could just rid you of any wounds on your body right now.” He offers, reaching for the hidden Zanpakuto in the back of his uniform, smaller than the visible one on his hip. “If you want I mean, but if not what brings you here to my camps.”

Salvatore would somewhat lean on the crates as he awaited the Vice,As he waited he was gifted his pain medicine as well as approached by a few others asking of his injuries.Truly the squad members here were fully aware of there duties an willing to do them without fuss,or laziness, they were driven.Clearly the man the fifth seat was about to meet was a good leader,an one people respected. Before the healers around San had dispersed the Shinigami of question appeared.Salvatores head rose as he looked towards the man calling his name. His tone was grateful an he gestured with a wave.San would lean forward off the crates an take a more formal posture as he would return with a slight bow of the head,as the man continued his approach.Instantly the Lieutenant Salvatores wounds, his demeanor slightly changing.Clearly the man was about his duties,as well as held his men to a standard. Before the fifth seat could even answer one of the healers, somewhat upset responded. The healer with brown hair truly was upset San had dismissed there offer, even the Vice was taken off guard by his subordinates response. The healing officer like the others around truly enjoyed there work as well as took it to heart, maybe too much. The glasses man would turn the corner fist clenched an began to speak to himself but loud enough San could hear had he choosen to keep listening, but he did not.He felt apologetic he had hurt the mans feelings if anything, and also happy he saw how much the squad cared about performing there tasks. It was something different from the everyday in the Soul Society. This was true passion an compassion.

It was quiet for a moment before the man San had come to see broke it,Sans attention turning back to the Lieutenant. At which point San could take in the mans features in better detail.Clothed like most shinigami but had a veil of sorts. He just like the rest went to Salvatores injuries willing to help,he could just grin in response. In this moment was drew the fifths attention was the fact he reached for another blade, another Zanpaktu, rather then the one on his hip.Something possibly the two also had in common, dual zanpaktus as there concern an drive to help fix Rukongai."Its a pleasure to finally meet you Lieutenant....?....He would say as he hinted towards catching a name."Seems me dismissing your officer got under his skin.I meant no disrespect i just thought his time an skills could been used for someone more in need them myself.San would turn his head to look over the camp one more time before back to the Vice."I have come to see if the rumors were true,,,as i see they are.An to meet the one in Charge...He would gesture with a hand towards the Lieutenant."As for my wounds...we can deal with them later....Salvatore said with a grin showing he was in no true pain, pausing for a moment as he touched his bandaged chest.Feeling, recalling the cero that burn his chest."Now the true reason i have come...I  was wondering if you may have the personal to expand this into the districts 50-55,possibly 50-60.I have grew in those districts and have earned there loyalties an respect.I can assure you they would be more then glad an willing to accept your help.He would pause a moment before looking around the camp."As i have looked around though i have seen some potential risks.I know you probably dont want to come off as a miitary camp and more an open medical facility. However as you know the Districts are stricken with crime, thugs, criminals corruption as well us Soul Reapers arent to fairly liked. So from What i have seen maybe i can reinforce your camps, provide some extra security to say the least.San would smile at the Vice Captain before taking a more formal stance."Anyway i can be of service to help expand such a cause,do allow me....Salvatore would await the response thinking in his mind of everything he said an possibilities for the future should things go the right way.

"Its a pleasure to finally meet you Lieutenant....?...The Seated officer inquires for a name however Yuro merely pretends to have not picked up on the request in order to not come off rude, “Its nice to have a visitor from back home, as far as Shinigami go.. we have only had each other out here for months. “ He shrugs. "Seems me dismissing your officer got under his skin. I meant no disrespect I just thought his time an skills could been used for someone more in need them myself.” San continues. To this the Lieutenant laughs warmly, “Hes just crazy don’t worry about him, man loves his job so much it kind of makes me uncomfortable at times.” He explains. The Seated Officer of the Seventh Division then explains that he had come to see if the rumors of Yuroshima’s work in these territories were what he had heard, offering his hand to shake after. Yuroshima outstretches his arm and grasps the visitors hand who then explains that his wounds could be dealt with later before getting to the real point of his presence.

Now the true reason i have come...I  was wondering if you may have the personal to expand this into the districts 50-55,possibly 50-60.I have grew in those districts and have earned there loyalties an respect.I can assure you they would be more then glad an willing to accept your help.He would pause a moment before looking around the camp, returning his gaze to Yuro."As i have looked around though i have seen some potential risks. I know you probably don’t want to come off as a military camp and more an open medical facility. However as you know the Districts are stricken with crime, thugs, criminals corruption as well us Soul Reapers aren’t to fairly liked. So from What i have seen maybe i can reinforce your camps, provide some extra security to say the least.” He finishes, his words giving the Lieutenant much joy and excitement although the restoration specialist doesn’t allow these emotions to surface too obviously , fearing certain members outside there division or even rukognai citizens may hear this discussion. “That’s exactly what’s needed.” He replies in a friendly manor, “But we should have a discussion this important elsewhere, would you like to come with me to my tent?” For a moment he wonders if he should have one of his subordinates run and stop the Mayor, the District Lord, Jim and his Veiled agent before they left the boundaries of the camp for they made up his makeshift council in these strange and changing times, but resolves then that he should wait on that until he knows of Sans true intentions and values, “Indeed.. he must prove himself.” Yuro thinks while awaiting the 5th seats answer.

It seemed San's hinted notion for a name was mistaken, but more then likely brushed off.No way the man missed Sans intention in the question. This peeked San interest, was he holding the information back, why? The Lieutenant would respond we being happy to see another "visitor" one apart from his daily dealings. As it seemed the group had been out here months. This was surprising seeing as the Gotei 13 liked to keep missions long term or not on a leash of sorts. But also it would be expected of such a venture to take time to complete.Districts were not all the same nor were they the easiest to reform. The two new potential allies would shake hands as the Vice dismissed his officers over reaction he had demonstrated earlier.Confirming Salvatores thoughts on the man,one of true maybe over the top love of his job.The handshake would end an San would continue. In the End the fifth seat was met by a response again raising interest an also somewhat answering why the Vice did not mention his name earlier. He seemed ok an happy about the offer an possible moving his camps into other districts. What tipped San off to why he kept his name withheld was what he said next."Move the Discussion"It would seem that quite possibly the Lieutenant had already been dealing with possible moles, spies, assassins, battles. An had reason to keep his operations next moves in secret as well as his person, hence probably the Veil he wore also was to maintain secrecy. Also these words made San feel somewhat dumb for explaining his motives in and around so many eyes an ears.It was a mistake on Sans part hopefully one not to bad or would come back to bite him in his ass. Then again San was all for secret movments as he was until months ago the unknown vigilante.Since his name an faced been plastered as face of hope an security,he moved somewhat different, not keeping to the shadows as much.

"Sorry Lieutenant, forgive my bluntness. Please lead the way..Salvatore would nod slightly bowing, willing to go to the tent.He hoped there the two could get down to hashing out the details, possibly San learning even more of this Vice Captains motives slash end goal."By the way i am truly grateful to see another looking out for these poor souls as i have in my districts.....even thought my help came in the art of killing, defending an yours in treatment...San would say somewhat quietly as he followed behind the Vice towards his tent, this time hinting at what else may the Lieutenant be up to or been up to.

"Sorry Lieutenant, forgive my bluntness. Please lead the way.The officer states. “Not at all.” The Lieutenant replies kindly as the two begin to make their way back through the tent comprised maze, “We’re amongst friends here, I’m just extremely cautious about certain things.” He explains before the Officer follows up by stating, “By the way i am truly grateful to see another looking out for these poor souls as i have in my districts.....even thought my help came in the art of killing, defending an yours in treatment..” To this Yuro laughs half hollowly thinking back to the battles fought on the road to establishing the work around them. “Indeed.” He replies.

A few twists and turns later and at last they begin approaching a large circular white tent with a maroon flag waving proudly at the top, the thick black symbol of the Restoration Corps stamped prominently on the entrance flaps. Yuro looks at the entrance a moment, realizing he should probably get a special lock for tents or even build a door way inside, “This is it.” He tells the Officer while looking over his shoulder before the leading the 5th seat into his abode, still lit warmly in orange hues by the lanterns all around, he holds the flap back while San enters. “Would you like me to rewarm the pot of tea? Or perhaps a cigar? I have a couple Tobacco and Ken Ken varieties.” He offers, “Gets rather boring out here during the slow points.” He adds jokingly.

“As for your questions and suggestions.” The Lieutenant begins to talk of more official matters, “As you may have noticed, there was quite a lack of guards when you had come to our camp today, that’s because the Squad 9 Subordinates I was given to assist me with this operation, were only contracted to me for a short time and word came roughly a week ago that they were going to have to start taking most of them back to perform their duties back at the Seireitei. So as far as you supplying troops from the 7th division, that would be a true blessing if you can get the clearance for it. Because you are right, the Districts are an awful place.. worse now than they ever have been in the wake of the disaster that flipped the worlds organizations upside down. “ He glances at his wooden chest a moment but resolves to not grab the map yet. “We will want to honestly just focus on getting the Squad 7 troops you had in mind here for we cant really defend against the bandit camps that are starting to rise up around us and catch wind of our presence nor expand into further territories without that step being completed first. After we have more military capability we can do as we wish with it.” The Lieutenant finishes, pondering the notion of how useful it would be for him to inact his plans and attempt to train certain members in his Division to be more Combat efficient.. with all the tides turning as of late.. he may need to take Captaincy sooner than he had planned.

Salvatore followed a few steps behind the The Vice Captain as they journeyed threw the camp.It was truly larger then first thought when San had been given the information. As they snaked threw the Vice responded with a low laugh, seeming there had been more at play then simple healing.Such a endeavor truly would come at its prices,no way they hadnt run into some sort of goon like bandit group yet.An if so it was only a matter of time. The thugs an such around the various districts already disliked Shinigami but even more so the ones who were invading there "Territory" as they would see it.Anything to keep the masses afraid and under there control. As they snaked threw the maze of tents they finally arrived at one bigger then most, probably the biggest.A large white round tent with a red flag atop an the insignia of the corps stamped on the entrance.Along the way San had taken in what he could as how his squad could help fortify the encampment. The Lieutenant would pause a moment before opening a flap revealing the inside allowing Salvatore to enter.San would nod in reply as he entered. The place had a bed, various small tables and crates most of which had lanterns lit causing the room to be illuminated. In the middle was a larger table, more then likely used for planning. Now both inside the Vice would extend his hospitality offering to rewarm the tea,and possible smoke, noting slow points were rather boring."Ill take a cigar of the tobacco if you dont mind. The fifth seat would say,he wasnt one to smoke really, but he did enjoy one from time to time. Not to mention he did so to cut the formalities an make the meeting more friendly. The fifth also did not wish to continue to refuse the hospitalities as he did with the medical care.

Taking a stand on the side of the larger round table he would place his hands on it leaning forward as the Lieutenant began to address the matters at hand.First about the lack of guards/security in agreement with the Fifths notions. But it seemed the guards had just recently began to lack as he the Vice Captain had squad 9 members at his disposal until recently.Which wasnt surprising. After all the squads wouldnt want to continue for too long without a Vice or Captain warranting the idea,as the Vice of squad 4 had.Something next he would hint at,and he was right.Being a fifth seat Salvatore would have a harder time pulling the strings to get such an "Ok" but he was pretty sure he could. After all he was close to the Vice of his squad an already being groomed for the position.Next topic was if or when the acquired the troops the squad 4 camp could expand.AS the topic of bandits arose,as something the Fifth seat had expected.Taking a drag of his cigar he sure by now had been given,he slowly exhales towards the tents roof."You are right,me being a lower seated officer it may prove difficult to warrant the troops. However myself an my Vice Captain Oni Trio have formed a bond an he trust my judgment,Im sure i can get you atleast a troop of 20-30 men at first an more within reasonable timing.Taking another drag he would think for a moment."Eventually i think i can spare fifty men at a time changing troops every three weeks, allowing my squad to continue there duties as well as help here. After which i hope we can press towards my district and others, eventually creating multiple camps, smaller but well equiped like this one in several districts.San would lean back along one of the crates, drawing on his smoke."As for these bandit encampments any pressing concerns as of now i may be able to assist with.Im currently on leave,so i have time to spare. He was on medical leave however San wasnt one to allow his injuries stop him or his goal, even more so if it could help his friends.By the way may iget your name Lieutenant? He would twirl the cigar in his hands, looking at it in pleasure as it was a fine cigar, deeply inhaling an exhaling another large cloud.

Yuroshima listens thoughtfully while the Officer speaks, pleased he was enjoying the Cigar for they were the first ones he had hand rolled himself although he didn’t tell anyone that for fear of seeming braggadocios. When San had finished speaking the Lieutenant replied, the very end of the officers words piquing his interest most, “Well its good your close with your Vice Captain, and twenty to fifty troops would be a god send right now… but if you really want to help me with Bandit threats that are around our camp right now… I may have an errand in mind you can help me run, I was going to do it today before the next unit of division nine soldiers had to leave the encampment.” He pauses a moment, “Nothing serious, it’s a small chain of camps forming on a northern crest to the territories we currently occupy and is beginning to cause trouble for the people of Nahgistahd. I have a few Shinigami here that would be comfortable in coming along, as the highest ranks we could form into two groups and sweep the camps before the day is over.”

The meeting between the two new found allies proved to be going well. They both had shared reasoning as well as motives to change the districts for the better. There end goal seemed to be the same, atleast from what they two had discussed. The fifth seat would continue to drag on his cigar, truly forgetting the enjoyment  a good cigar could bring. He grinned as he looked at it again before back to the his new found comrade in arms.It seemed Salvatores offer for twenty to fifty men would help, and be gladly appreciated. It brought a sense of accomplisment an pride that San could do his part to help not only the Lieutenant in his goals but also his districts. As when the Vice was able to expand,he would do so.Salvatore would lean forward as the man spoke off his help here an now, with some bandits. The fifth seat would take a final drag of his cigar, still only about half way completed he would put it out.He would somewhat detil the said mission, giving the officer an idea what he would be involved in,something he was used to an ready for.Like always bandit, thugs or whoever would try an reclaim what they thought was theres, even though they would disrespect not only the land but the people, looking only for self gain.A group had begun to sprout up camps along the northern area of an recently occupied Nahgistahd.A town San had heard somewhat about on his way over,a place where a war had recently broke out.To Salvatore the pieces of the puzzle began to fill, more then likely this Vice before him had a hand in that. Therefore maybe it or he wasnt all healing after all an was ready to enact punishment, destruction an death  for his cause.Something that would have to be done trying to achieve such a goal, not always but times would arise, such as possibly now."I am happy to oblige you,an lend my services to your....our cause. The fifth seat would say as he looked firmly towards the Vice, his words hoping to show his true full fledge support."Are our intentions to kill, wiping the threat completely,or are we willing to give these men a chance.....The question was one San had to ask,how it was answered would allow him to act occordingly. If it was death San would have no hesistation an would deliver quick strikes,if it was run off scare he would hold back, delivering wounding attacks not death strikes."I am confident you may have some detail as how many men are within? He tired to ask all the nessary questions."Other then that what is the plan Lieutenant?

The Seated officer listens to Yuro as he hints at a mission involving multiple small bandit camps. “I am happy to oblige you, an lend my services to your....our cause.” He states, holding a tone of full fledged support. "Are our intentions to kill, wiping the threat completely, or are we willing to give these men a chance....He continues, evoking from Yuroshima a response, “Making arrests comes first.” He explains, “But if they will not immidiatly surrender, or even reach towards their weapon… we cant risk Shinigami or other Citizens just because some chose such an unsavory mode of being you know.? They are to be dispatched with quickness and efficiency.” He pauses, “I don’t know what kind of man or fighter you are but if you have the soul of a warrior and enjoy the shouting , ecstasy and showmen ship of combat I would ask you leave all of that void in this mission, it would only serve to upset the population bandit or not.” He eyes the 5th seat from behind his ever concealing veil, “I would prefer quick clean killings.”

"I am confident you may have some detail as how many men are within?” He tired to ask all the nessary questions." "Other then that what is the plan Lieutenant?” He finishes. To this the Restoration specialist nods, “Yes and no, these are small encampments that my scouts explain have to have sprung from another larger camp which they are searching for now but that camp will be dealt with by… other means..” He states, a wink in his voice, “So as far as number of men I don’t think we should be expecting more than the five to ten range, maybe fifteen at a wild maximum but again these are small groups, theres 4 we know of I was thinking you could handle two and I could handle two as well.” He pauses a moment as to not ramble before continuing, “Might as well put the rest of these squad nine soldiers to work before they too have to return.”

Once the conversation had concluded Yuroshima had sent one of his subordinates, the one who also concealed his face, to gather the volunteers outside his tent, and soon the time came to meet them. He exits the tent, the Lieutenant of the Restoration Corps and eyes the 6 men before him until turning his gaze back to San “Take your pick of 3, Officer Salvatore.” He states, waving an arm over the direction of the group of Shinigami before them.

It would seem the Lieutenant had wanted to resolve the issue at hand with no casualties.Which was the more diplomatic way,a way to gain more trust in his cause and shinigami. However he was no fool,an in no way put the lives of the bandits over his own or the civilians. The Vice would continue drawing up the question of what sortof fighter he was.He was not looking for "showboating" to say the least.Luckily for him,San wasnt the type anyways. He executed his duties as swift and fast as possible. Not to mention the seated officers Zanpaktus were more assassin based,if anything San strived in stealth. Putting his hand on his Zanpaktus hilt on his hip,he nodded to the Vice Captain."No problem here Lieutenant,my zanpaktus are just right for what you ask."Next would come the details atleast what was known to Yuroshima. The camps they would deal with now, were just branches of a larger camp, one that his scouts were trying to locate. San had hoped he could help with the larger camp, however it would seem the Lieutenant already had a plan to deal with it in place. The seated Officer would help wherever he could. For now these smaller camps were simply it seemed like outposts, in the early stages. As it would seem there were only four men, however possible the camp grew to ten plus, less then 20. This would definitely be on the easier side of Sans missions as of lately. Still even though it seemed easy didnt mean something could go wrong or something unexpected could happen. An it would seem the Vice Captain thought the same as he was putting the squad 9 soilders to use before there departure. "I understand"

Next after all talks had concluded another officer was called in, he too wearing a veil to mask his face. At first San was thrown off, but then realized it was for a reason. Possibly to conceal there faces but mainly, possibly to conceal the leader to lessen the risk of assassination. keeping any unwanted eyes from really knowing who was in charge, or quite possibly something San Salvatore did not think of. A few moments later a group of six men would arrive, San would get his choice of three, who would assist him on this mission. The seated officer had his pick. He would look them over, instantly he would notice a tall man, slender with a bald hair. He wore normal reaper attire an wore his zanpaktu strapped to his back. San would choose this man, he would nod an step forward "Shino, zuki at your service" Next San would choose the shortest of the six (5'2), a man who wore his black hair back in a ponytail. He had brown eyes, and again wore normal attire, except for his beaded necklace an bracelet." Wen, Huromi Sir." The two would now have taken one step before the rest, San would glance them over one last time. His third an final choice was a girl, she stood quiet an steady. You could see the ruthlessness in her eyes, the dedication. She had purplish hair with green highlights down to her shoulders. Her eyes were green, she wore normal robes as well however she had lime green stitching ana green belt to match. She even had a green scarf wrapped around at the neck, she wore her zanpaktu on her left hip, it also had green wrapped around it. This would be San's final choice, the 5'5 female, she was thin but athletic build. "Kami, August " She would bow as she stepped forward. The three would then step back."I am Salvatore, i will be your team leader, thank you for tagging along...i will let .....him  take over. Salvatore would notion to the Vice in case he had wanted to tell them anything of the mission after all he was the leader of this all.

To this Yuroshima nods, he had taken slight interest into the potential and capabilities of Shino quite some time prior both for skill he had demonstrated against the only raid attempt near the beginning of the camps time in between the districts but also because his appearance had reminded him of the deceased Benor from one of his earliest missions as a Shinigami. “Thank you Officer Salvatore.” He replies then motioning for the remaining three Shinigami to step forth. He knew them all already, Izo Tetsuyana who wore the standard uniform and kept his blonde hair short and Jim with his usual black bandana both from the ninth division along with Ikenzo Muguruma , the angry healer from earlier with his thick framed glasses and short brown hair. He was unsure if bringing Jim along would be a good idea but the ninth division officer insisted and so Yuroshima obliged his comrade. “The map.” The Lieutenant states evoking Ikenzo to step forth and hand a medium sized sheet of paper to him. He then steps forth beckoning for San to look at the map with him. “I was going to have you take the two camps that are positioned on this lake, theres one on each side so if you wanted any advice it would be to try and take the first that you decide to go for as silently as possible. The lake is rather large though it would need to be quite a commotion for the second camp across to hear your takeover. That leaves me and mine to handle the two which are dug into the forest at the foot of the field that leads to the lake.” He pauses, looking up to the sky, “It’ll be night within the hour so we will go when it is dark as to be better obscured, beyond that all planning can be left up to you as you’ll be leading your portion of the assault.”

The Lieutenant would get the map from one of his subordinates, Salvatore would walk closer looking over the map. The officer and his team would be taking the two camps on the lake. The camps were on opposite side, therefore a possible alert to the other was possible. First thought was too split his team into two men group however as the Lieutenant mentioned the lake was large. As long as they took the first with minimum  effort they would have no real worry as to alerting the second. In the end San would keep his team together. The four man team including himself had a better chance at resolving the camp that way. As well as allowing the least possible chances of something going wrong if he was with his team. Allowing full control of the situation at hand. The Lieutenant and his team would take the two camps dug into the foot of the hill that led to the lake. His team would also have to move with speed and stealth because they could also alert the lake side camps. However the reports of the camps were minimal bandits so the task at hand was more then likely would go flawlessly.

San would motion for his team to gather around, "Ok team we will attack the camps one at a time to ensure nothing goes awry. We will surround the camp, one man on each far side. Myself and Kami will take the middle. We will move in unison. Keep your spiritual pressure concealed. Strike to knockout, not to kill unless provoked. We are doing this to gain further intelligence and to heed the progression of the bandits. Meaning we need to have survivors. Once all within the camp are neutralized we will restrain and move to the next camp, understood. Salvatore's team would all reply in unison "Yes Sir', the Officer nodding in acceptance. "As for the next camp we will use the lake, as means to infiltrate. We will move now in groups of two. Coming from the lake should provide us with surprise, the bandits more then likely not guarding it as it faces there other encampment. As the details were laid out San felt reassured of his team and the plan. He would look to the Veiled Lieutenant. "Ready to move out" Night had begun to take over the sky, the sun had set, the time was upon them.

NIGHTFALL"

San and his team would move with swiftness, using the forest to close in on the camps along the lake. Once within proximity the team of four would split. One would go to the right, far side of the camp along the lake. The other would position himself within trees on the opposite side. San and Kami would take place dead middle of the camp along the forest line, twenty yards between the two, fifty yards between them and there comrades. Seeing them would almost be impossible unless you knew there exact positions. This allowed them to signal to one another, when the time to strike was upon them. They would remain motionless for some time allowing them to take in the camps features, as well as target or access the bandits within. As reports noted these camps were fairly small but definitely growing.  The camp consisted of four tents one seemed to house the bandits, the other supplies and arms. The other two were unknown, more then likely place for more men or planning or even there bandits leaders to meet. Due to it being nightfall  multiple fire lanterns were scattered along the "walls" of the camp or what would be walls if they had any. Within the camp was a main fire, were two men were seen eating and conversing. One bandit was seen entering the supply tent and exiting with what appeared to be tent gear. Two other men had been seen entering and exiting the tent of the unknown tent. After some time watching no others bandits were seen but this did not mean that there werent any within the tents. San would motion for his team to move. "Kami you and i take out the ones by the fire... She would nod her head as the attack began. Along the lake was a massive bonfire, not lite, there signal to the other camps. This was something that had to ensure the bandits did not get too.

OOC: would of finished but didnt want to hold you up ;)

At last the time of night had befallen the medical camp and Yuroshima looked up to the star dotted sky in despair, moving the rest of his expansion into Nahgistahd was already going to prove irritating and tiresome enough without the contribution of a lack of sleep. His men returned from their tents and seemed to have made good use of the little time they had been allotted to prepare. Team Yuro then approaches team San and the Lieutenant himself steps forth handing the officer a copy of the map he had shown him earlier detailing the locations of the camps and lakes, and various environmental vantage points which surrounded both. “The camps aren’t very close, but they also aren’t extremely far either.” The Restoration specialist states. “If for any reason you should need help or back up fire the largest Shakkaho you can manage into the air, I have squads of lower level but more plentiful shinigami that will move to you for back up if need be.” And indeed the camps were a little bit of a distance away, positioned more by District 48 which still went by its “District Name” and rested south of Naghistahd which was formerly District 49. These were the easy days and the veiled one dreaded the soon to come days that they would venture even further out from the Seireitei. Rukognai had changed drastically since the disaster event that shaped the new world.

Team Yuro then departed.

Yuroshima leads his team which consisted of Jim, Izo and Ikenzo  through the waist high tall grass under the ivory spotlight of the moon, they had began departing from San and his squad at an angle some time ago and were now very far apart from them in the field, Sans team beginning to move into the forest to get a better entry point for the lake camps, indeed they were beginning to draw near the lake. Yuroshima’s glossy gray eyes pierce through the darkness in the direction of the 7th Division Officer who now led his subordinates as they drew closer and closer to the lake. “Good luck to you.” Yuroshima mumbles under his breath before refocusing his attention forward.

San and his team would move with swiftness, using the forest to close in on the camps along the lake……

Finally exiting the tall grass field which acted as a makeshift border between the districts the four are submerged in the even deeper darkness of the dense forested areas starting with their mission commander, one by one the leapt into the trees as to move with even less chance of detection and to avoid trip wires if the members of these camps were more clever than they had anticipated. Hopping branch to branch, tree top to tree top , using shunpo to quicken the process. At last the Lieutenant comes to a stop, evoking his subordinates to halt in various positions, above below and behind him. “Do you see it? In the distance?” He poses the question to Jim. “That feint Orange glow? The Bandana Badass replies, “Yeah, I see it.” In the distance, one could make out a soft orange light obscured by the trees and thick brush which littered the area. “That must be the first camp.” They venture closer in the same fashion, now perched above their target. 6 tents surrounded one large roaring fire, there were three sleeping mats on the ground as well hinting at even more troops than the tents could hold. One man lay on one of them mats. Three men stood on alert forming a triangular parameter around the camp yet out of leisurely purposes stood close to that which they guarded as to still hold random conversation with those who were not using their time to sleep. Beyond that only four men could be seen, they sat around the camp fire and held their own conversation which had to do with matters like uprisings and rights and distrust of the Shinigami.

There was only one true way to do this quickly and with little to no casualties to either party. The three subordinates who had accompanied Yuroshima knew the plan and would now wait on their mission Commander to make the first move. He waits only a moment before deeming no information of value would come from listening to the enemies conversation before aiming his palm at their fire. He waits a moment as his subordinates shield their eyes, some with their hands and some with the crooks of their arms as to have their sight adjusted beforehand. Yuro too closes his eyes after fixating his palm in the correct position and waits a few moments before building the power he would use for this spell. He had never attempted Tenran before, he could have used Sho but saw this lower level mission as a chance to gain some amount of practice with the technique he wished to learn. His eyes still shut yet arm unmoved he calls chants the name in an attempt to evoke the power, “Tenran!” His voice calls out, causing some of the guards to jump out of startlement. The powerful blast of wind chaotically rushes towards the large fire in a rough and rather horrid spinning motion before slamming into the flames and putting them out. The Lieutenant could feel that the kido had been fired imperfectly but resolved that next time he would have it for sure. Black splashed across the Veiled Ones eyes, replacing the vibrant and flickering orange which had been there prior and instantly he opens them and leaps from his perch downward firing a Sai upon his landing and immediately disabling one of the combatants another stands and unsheathes his thick brutish sword, slashing it towards Yuro’s head before he ducks and shoves the attacker with great strength in the direction of Izo who began to subdue him. Jim and Ikenzo as well began their own respective fights with the three guards, disabling the enemy with their own preferred Bakudo, so far no lives had to be spent and the Restoration Specialist had hoped to keep that trend flowing. This left the remaining two men to the Veiled Vice Captain who after shoving the man to Izo had rushed forth attempting to knock one of his adversaries unconscious with a strong Hakudo style strike to the head. The man however had sharper reflex than the Lieutenant had counted on and ducked and rolled beneath the blow.

The second had seen this as an opportunity and rushed forth, club raised. Yuroshima responds by taking a step backward and uses the momentum to send a stern back kick into the man’s gut. The Veiled one pushes hard after the initial strike, shoving the bandit back a distance, causing him to stumble and fall back against the log he was sitting on. He had to be careful and play this smart, these were very murky lines separating his actions from Illegality and the more Rukognai citizens he could avoid killing the better. Suddenly one by one two men burst from two of the tents facing opposite each other and rushed for their weapons, one letting out a war cry and rushing in the direction of Jim and Ikenzo who were still subduing their own enemies. Izo quickly tackles this assailant down and the two begin wrestling over his weapon. The Second begins to rush Yuroshima who was still locked in his two on one. Yuro quickly pulls the thick strong sheathed sword from his waist and springs forth towards his first attacked holding the sheathed Zanpakuto up sternly and blocking the mans strike with ease he quickly grabs the Bandits wrist  and elbow, digging his foot into the ground he leaps backward taking the man with him before spinning and using the enemies body levers which he had a hold of to redirect his position behind the Lieutenant. The Second attack swung his club not realizing Yuroshima’s maneuver and smacks his friend upside the head with the hard wood weapon. The man drops to the ground unconscious before the club wielding bandits arms are forced at his side with a golden Hainawa the Lieutenant had fired directly after the strike.

The one who had rushed from his tent had already grabbed his weapon and was rushing towards Yuroshima with almost no time in between his arrival and the defeat of his two comrades. Letting out a bellowing yell he swing his large claymore style sword down towards the Veiled Shinigami who now grips his Sheathed Zan with both hands raising it up in an angled swing style block in order to perform a parry. The weapon clashes against the black sheathe and is knocked fiercely upward. In one motion Yuroshima resheathes his Zan and rushes forth, using his right arm to wrap around the man’s throat while using a half spin on his heel to lock in place behind him. The lieutenant then sends a hard kick to the back of one of the enemies legs before falling backward. Upon landing on the ground with the enemy on top of him he begins to tighten his hold to attempt and force him to pass out due to lack of oxygen. But the enemy’s physical strength is truly impressive even by shinigam standards, as man of the bandits in the new worlds spirutal and physical strength were. The man thrashes about, his neck tense and thick and he was not losing consciousness as fast as Yuro had hoped. The Veiled shinigami struggles to hold onto the man with one arm while holding the wrist of hand which held his weapon with the other for he had started to swing it around.. before he tightens both grips and pushes off the ground with one of his legs rolling over once and then using the momentum to roll over two more times with the man in his grasp. Upon the end of the third roll he throws the man’s hand which clutched his sword down onto the smoldering firewood, burning the back of it severely and both forcing him to release it and breaking his rage and concentration. Quickly Yuroshima uses this opportunity to tight his hold once more, instantly cutting off the mans oxygen he falls asleep in mere seconds with a pained gurgling noise before he too is bound by Bakudo.

The unconscious bodies are dragged and formed into a pile so the lieutenant may paralyze them for a while with Geki while they go and repeat this seige at the other camp until Yuroshima notices something. “One of them is missing.” He states. “What do you mean? How?” Ikenzo asks, confusion forming in his expression. “He must have slipped away, but the one I had bounded in Sai when we first dropped is not in that pile. Yuro replies before raising his palm and casting the bright red Bakudo over the group of enemies, wondering what the implications of this snag would be.

Moments prior -

Bojuma runs through the forest as quickly as he could with his hands bound behind his back by this seemingly unbreakable energy which glowed gold behind him. He dashes like crazy in what he hopes in the right direction, fear pumping through his heart before he finally spots who he had hoped to see. “Jamire!” He shouts out in a rasped whisper. The black haired Bandit, holding two armfuls of firewood halts in his advance at the calling of his name. “Hello?” He whispers loudly back. “Is someone there?” He squints through the darkness before seeing the feint golden glow rushing towards him, he is startled and drops the wood before realizing it was his closest friend and tent mate in the rebellion. “Bojuma?” he asks, voice now louder. “Shhh!” The Bound bandit snaps at him. “Our camp just got attacked, I’m sure it was taken down, I rolled into the brush during the struggle and began running in the direction I thought I had seen you walk.” An expression of fear plasters across Jamires face as he begins to look back and forth, now afraid and unsure of himself in the dark, “Well what do we do about it?” He asks. “We have to get to the next closest camp and warn them, hopefully they haven’t already been assaulted too.” His friend replies before turning around. “Can you get me out of this?” He asks showing the gleaming Bakudo which bound his hands. “Oh man I wouldn’t know how..” He begins before Bojuma cuts him off, “Just try please.” He states evoking his comrade to draw his short thick machete style blade. He gives the Bakudo a few strikes before realizing no normal weapon could ever break such a thing. The two share a concerned glance realizing one of them would have absolutely no combat capability before the two take off quickly in the direction of the second camp.

The infiltration of the four camps had begun. The lieutenant  had begun his attack and things had seemed to go right atleast for now. San and his team would at roughly the same time would of began there's. The seated officer and his current subordinate Kami would begin to close in on the group. As they neared the other two team members would await in the trees on opposite sides of the camp. They would be a form of look out, but also infiltrate when San gave the order. As San and the female ninth squad member closed in, they were met by a surprise. As they crept closer an closer a random bandit came stumbling around a large tree. He had just finished draining his bladder, his eyes widened as he saw the two. "He....." He would begin to call out to his buddies, only to be cut short by San using his full speed to strike the man down with a well placed strike to his jaw. The fifth seat would catch the man as he fell, Kami and himself continuing to creep in further.

They were now about ten yards from a tent and about twenty from the fire where the two bandits were. However now close enough San could hear the voices of what seemed to be more bandits then expected. Awaiting a moment before continuing San contemplated his next actions. He would signal for Kami to take the left side of the tent, while he moved up the right. When they reached the other side, the side with the entrance  and also facing the fire. The two men were still there conversing amongst themselves. Salvatore would motion for Kami to keep by the door side, as he moved for the two by the fire. Meanwhile the other two Shino and Wen began to leap from there perched positions and gracefully fall upon the camp. As they did they were met by bandits eyes, the bandits would look in awe just as the two would land upon them, knocking them out. However Shino was spotted by another, one who had just exited a tent. "Hey ,What The Hell?" The good would call out as he rushed Shino. They were on the side of a tent therefore it didnt alarm all the bandits within the camp, however it did alarm the ones at the fire. San now being mere feet behind the two at the fire, they would drop there drinks an leap up to there comrades call. One would notice San, the fifth seat would deliver a jump kick to the mans chest sending him tumbling threw the fire. While also following up with a back spin low sweep, knocking the other off his feet. Rolling over to him delivering a quick punch, knocking the man unconscious. However due to the man tumbling threw the fire his weeps and grunts stirred up the ones within the tents.

Kami waiting on the tents entrance would grab the first bandit by the arm, pulling him close driving his elbow into his abdomen, chest then jaw. He would be followed by another, Kami again quickly dealing with the first by placing her hand on his chest and using Hado Sho. The force was enough to knock the mans wind out and send him tumbling into crates. The third was more ready, he managed to exchange a few blows with Kami before Wen had appeared using Bakudo Sai to bind the man, allowing her to knock him out as well. San  while this was happening was met by his own two thugs, after having put the man on fire out by a swift kick and a blanket. The two would rush San, however there speed was lacking compared to the Officers. He would use his speeds force to cause them both to lose there footings and stumble to the ground. Again he would use two swift kicks to there heads to cause them to sleep, possibly minor head trauma. Shino had dealt with his one, that had spooked the others and began to close in on the others. By now the commotion had awoken those within and they began to exit the tent, in which Shino was about to pass. Shino would leap and roll while using a chain bakudo to bound the first. The second came roaring out, attacking with his fist towards Shinos face. Shino would raise his forearm to block , a seki bakudo would appear. The blue condensed orb was struck by the fist, bending before sending the force of the punch an more back to its owner. The bandit would tumble and roll until smacking up against a tree.

However the third and fourth to exit mad a sprint for the signal fire, San would use his Bakudo #30 to pin one against a tree . The other had dodged and kept running a torch in his hand. He closed in on his destination only to be met by Kami. She smiled before the goon decided to rush her, the bandit would draw his knife ,knife in one hand torch in the other. He would use the two, both as weapons swinging the torch while slashing with the knife. This would cause Kami to have to wait her chance, dodging and manevuring around each strike. Until she saw the opening, delivering a straight kick to the knee joint, causing it to dislodge. The man would drop to a knee in pain as he threw the torch to the signal fire. Kami  was taken by surprise, luckily Salvatore and his speed caught the torch mid launch, snatching it from the air. Kami even no more enraged did a spin kick to the mans face. "Any others?" The fifth seat would call out softly to his team which all now stood around the fire."Seems we have dealt with them all" San would remained positioned for a moment before continuing. "Great job..so far. Now Wen bind the bandits with kido and chains. Shino go into the tents try and gather any intelligence you deem important to this mission or towards the Lieutenants main objective. Kami great fighting, take watch, keep an eye out for any returning bandits. I will help Shino go threw the tents. Stay focused, stay alert we are in enemy territory. The team would split, Wen binding the banidts, Shini and San looking/gathering any important information, Kami stood guard moving from tree top to tree top.  Shino would exit one tent with a few rolled up maps of enemy positions and possible future enemy camps. San would exit with a detailed map of the two lake camp sites and there bandit "Officers/patrols/ numbers" "It would seem this was the smaller of the two lake camps. Next if this paper is correct should hold twenty plus men. We will need to act with more swiftness as well as surprise. This time Wen you and Shino, get changed into the bandit gear. You two will infiltrate, remain low key do not draw attention. When Kami and myself begin our attack we should gain there attention enough, so you two can enter the tents take out whatever bandits are within. Hopefully this will ensure better coverage and split the bandits up. After Shino come to my aid, Wen you go to Kami.......again we will use the water to get to the camp. However Wen Shino enter from this part of the forest into there camp, its one of there patrol routes."

San would explain as he held a map opened, Wen and Shino would change attire , Kami would await the move out order. The banidts of this camp were all subdued and the camp was ready to be destroyed after the other was dealt with." Ok Lets Move Out."

With the first camp down and the intelligence acquired San and his team began to move towards the next encampment. The team would begin making there way across the large lake, there speed staying in unison with one another. As they neared Shino and Wen would take to higher altitudes. Dressing in bandit attire the two would into the forest from high above onto a patrol route. There they would be met by two bandits on routine patrol. The shinigami would make quick work of the bandits and assume there patrol. They would enter the larger camp, this of which had two large main tents surrounded by various others. It also had two signal  bon fires one along the water the other along the tree line, signaling to the camps squad fours Lieutenant were currently dealing with. This lake camp was much bigger then the previous as multiple gaurds stood post scattered  in various locations around the camp. As well many bandits were seen moving supplies from one tent to another while others were busy setting up more tents. The bandits were beginning to set or start up a main strong hold, from the looks of things. One bandit stood out from the rest as he was dressed in somewhat formal attire and was giving orders to various bandits as he and two body guards walked threwout the area. There were many different factors and potentials for things to go wrong here.

"Kami you go left flank ill go right, strike to immobilize and more with swiftness. We can not allow them to signal the camps within the forest..." The seated officer would say as he and his comrade were beginning to close in on the camp. This wasnt the best play, it was more of a straight forward attack rather then silent. Goal was to use there sheer force to over power and allow Wen and Shino within to catch them off guard. As the two would split, Shino and Wen had infiltrated the camp and begun to survey the locations of bandits and possible threats. The two wouldnt remain unnoticed for long as one bandit began to approach them. "You over there..." He would call out. However this was at the same time San and Kami had made land fall. The two appearing before guards along the lakes bank, striking them down with ease, moving into the camp. It was then the two would let go and move with the intent to draw attention. San would rush into the camp, holding his sheathed weapon. The first bandit he would come across he would slam the butt of it into his gut then upon his head, knocking the man out cold. The grunts and force of the mans body hitting the ground drew attention. The next bandits to appear were dealt with by a spinning low sweep and a follow up kick to the others chest, sending the bandit crashing into a tent causing it to collapse on two bandits within. The force of the low sweep was enough to break the mans ankle but not keep him from calling out. San would stop the man by a quick crack to the mans neck with his sheathed weapon. Kami had also begun to draw attention causing two men to fly threw the air and into crates of supplies. The bandits were alerted and began to pour from the tents like ants defending there home. However as they began to charge towards the two attackers, Shino and WEn had begun to use kido to bind and trap various bandits.  Quickly the two forces of banidts were thrown into turmoil as Wen and Shino used the commotion and there disguises to effectively restrain multiple members. The two largers bandits forces were now split among many smaller two three men groups, filled with uncertainly and fear.

San and Kami would engage two three men groups before appearing before within the heart of the camp, where the bandit leader/ higher ranking official stood with his two body guards. San would nod to Kami she would vanish from sight to deal with the remaining bandits with Wen and Shino. "Men dispose of this..... Before another word left his lips San appeared before the three, using his full speed there was no way bandit of this caliber could keep up. Both body guards would fall to there knees before face planting the ground before them. "Flash step, Shinigami..... The head bandit said as he reached behind his back with both hands pulling out two pistols. He would instantly begin to fire, however these were unlike pistols of the human world with loud bangs associated with gun fire. instead these guns were somewhat dull in sound, and fired off reiatsu based projectiles, much like a shakkaho but smaller. San would take a few steps back while moving gracefully to avoid the fire. Each condensed ball of energy would zoom past, most would hit a tent or crate leaving a define hole straight threw. The tents that were hit would begin to ember as fire would begin to start. San noticed this and instantly used Bakudo number thirty, the peaks of the traingle slamming into each arm and torso of the leader, pinning him against a light post. He would struggle to get free, but it wouldnt work. San would appear before him delivering a palm strike to his chest and then his jaw, knocking the man out and the guns loose. They were intriguing and viable information. Even at a weaker state these kido type guns would/could prove dangerous. It also posed a viable option for the bandits defending against shinigami or any that opposed them.

Kami, Wen and Shino all would deal with what remained, even one went for the bon fire to set it ablaze and signal towards the other camps. However he and the constructed bon-fire would be sent spiraling in the wind as Kami used hado Tenran to destroy it. With it destroyd the bandit had landed into a crate revealing multiple reiatsu based weapons, from pistols to seemingly assault rifles even grenades and what appeared to be rocket launchers. Had the team arrived a few days later it was possible this mission would of ended in bloodshed or a true battle. "Sir we have rounded up and bound the bandits... We also have found weapons, reiatsu based weapons. San nodded before revealing the two pistols he had managed to get off the head bandit. Salvatore would walk over to the crate and see for himself. "This is new, these weapons are reiatsu based much like kido. They are not easily created or obtained, this could prove to be a major problem for the Lieutenant. We must figure out where they are coming from and who is supplying them and creating them. Look around for possible intel or clues, Wen remain here with the captured." San had seen a weapon like this before, Zen's kido Canons however he said squad 12 had helped him create them. An they were dormant until activated by a spiritually aware or enhanced soul. It was possible someone had came across the kido canons specs and altered them or created the idea from sheer intelligence. For now San would keep Zens canons to himself and speak with the man when he returned back to his barracks.

The gold light dims as Yuroshima finishes healing the wounds of the Bandits they had apprehended ending on the man’s burnt hand from the struggle he had gotten into on the ground. He looks to his subordinates now awaiting his orders, “Izo.” He calls to the squad member that he was the least amount acquainted with. “Yes sir.” The Division 9 solider stands attentively. “You are to stay here with these prisoners until back up comes to take them away. Send your butterfly out.” The lower ranked Shinigami complies, summoning a hell butterfly which he then disperses into the black night to carry the message to one of the four retrieval squads waiting back at a half way mark.

Some time had passed since the beginning of the assault and its current moment of conclusion and Yuroshima was feeling slightly uneasy about the bandit who had escaped. In the long run of things it wouldn’t matter because unless they somehow had a warrior capable of combating Captain Class Shinigami as equals there was nothing they could really do in the long run, what made it complicated was the Lieutenants resolve to not end their lives. His Zanpakuto senses these thoughts and thinks to itself how these were still the easy days, for a day would come when Yuroshima would have to conquer enemies with power even greater than his own, with nothing but the sheer force of his will.

Yuroshima takes point, leading the remaining members of his squad back into the thick black of the night soaked forests. Steadily they creep along through the brush before returning the tree tops traveling for roughly 2/3 of a mile before the veiled Restoration Specialist notices something strange, as they neared the location of the second camp he could only feel the presence of three individuals and they were dampened in an attempt to hide their spiritual pressure… “Are they.. cloaking?” The Lieutenant asks himself before coming to a slow and graceful stop atop a tree branch 20-30 feet away from the camp. He squints attempting to see basic movement in the camp but only sees the fire roaring between still tents, they hadn’t counted on a shinigamis heightened senses of spiritual presence and Yuro knew all too well what had happened, the one who had escaped had made it here first.

He looks over his shoulder to his subordinates, their expressions showing that they had also come to the same realization and were aware that there was likely more than only three people at the second camp which was supposed to be the larger of the two. “Ok, we shou_” Yuro begins before he is cut off by an electric screeching sound followed instantly by a gleaming blue Byakurai which shoots through the thick branch he and Ikenzo had been standing on, narrowly missing Ikenzo but laying a deep cut on his chest and abdomen. The branch is cut in half, Ikenzo falls backward against the body of the tree while blood begins to flow freely from his wound and Yuroshima begins falling to the ground, his body taking multiple hard blows before finally he slams into the patted grass and dirt which formed the hard forest ground. Jim who was on a lower branch to the left leaps to Ikenzos aid as fast as he could, feeling the lieutenant to be in less need of back up than their lower ranked and injured companion. He can waste no time as he can here shuffling below signifying the troops would soon rush the Lieutenant but also another blast of kido was imminent. He dashes forward, grabbing the injured parties collar and leaping with him to the next tree over.

Dazed, Yuroshima forces himself to sprawl to his feet, hand instinctively going for his Zanpakuto already. Two bandits burst from the brush in order to attempt at neutralization on the freshly fallen target, one in front of the other weapons drawn. With a now throbbing head ache and a simmering shock like pain in his left shoulder he dashes forth pulling his sheathed Zanpakuto from his sash and uses that motion to get his hilt behind the first enemy, increasing the arc swing of his arm unsheathing and then forcing the man behind him as he side steps past immediately swinging his arm back in the opposite direction and landing a sound strike across the face of the surprised second attacker who then stumbles hastily backward and lands on the seat of his pants. Yuroshimas reaction time however had been affected by the jarring nature of his fall, focusing on the head ache for a moment to long he had stopped the constant fluidity of his motions and did not finish with spinning around to block the attack he knew would be incoming. Hearing the man cry out as one does before a strike and feeling his now unsurpassed energy turn ominous the lieutenant knows he will be struck from behind but has not set himself up well enough to block. Improving he quickly dashes to the side, missing what had fortunately been an overhead swing. The Restoration specialist pivots on his heel into a half spin attempting to strike the second assailant with another arced swing but the man jumps backward and dashes forth once again this time swinging upward and at a diagonal. Quickly Yuroshima acts by gripping the hilt of his sheathed weapon and placing the sheathe section on the outside of his left arm, falling to one knee he blocks the strike with his body weight as if the man had struck a solid wall. Still gripping the hilt with his right hand he then grips the sheathe with his left and shifts his weight forward taking a crouched step and delivering a battering ram style blow angled slightly upward into the attackers solar plexus, this bandit to stumbles back.

Turning around hastily to check on the status of the other attacker he finds the previously stunned enemy to actually already be in mid swing. He was so silent and spiritual energy concealed so well the attack had escaped the senses of the trained Shinigami who attempts to keep his motion going whilst back up but is not quite quick enough and receives a decent cut down his left bicep, He takes another short leap backwards as two more men make their way out of the brush,..

Meanwhile, Jim lands into the neighboring tree clutching the uniform of Ikenzo who was attempting not to go into shock from the suddenness of it all. Ikenzo was one of the greatest healers in all of the Corps and had no problem dealing with the blood and gore of others, but when such a thing came from his own body he found it difficult to keep even slight composure. This was made obvious to Jim upon seeing the frozen look of terror on his face, expression unchanging in the slightest.. not even blinking. Jim himself was having difficulty coming to grips with the surprise attack, the first battle of what would come to be known as the shadow wars or secret crusades had left him with irrational inner fear and small PTSD like symptoms during a near death experience. Controlled combat had been easier for him lately but a sneak attack such as this…. “Their truly is no controlled combat..” He admits to himself but instantly regrets it for such a thought begins to well the anxiety in his stomach up even worse. But this attitude must be either cut short or inflamed by the immediate rushing of the remaining forces to kill he and Ikenzo. He can hear their crunching foot steps against the grass and twigs and pinecones below. Another blue streaking Bykaurai is fired from almost directly below them soaring through the trees branches but missing their own, pushing past Jim with great force and tearing a section of his sleeve before moving into the sky above. He looks to his injured comrade, this man was no friend to him not like Yuroshima and he saw no way to remove him from the tree without them instantly being rushed and forced into combat that would be more difficult with a dead weight. Jim knew he had to leave the healer but was unable to commit to such a decision. He respected Yuroshima a great deal and knew what such an action would signify to the Lieutenant of Jims true character. Yuroshima was one who spent every small parentage of his energy to efficiency and the well being of those involved in his campaigns. Jim wonders for a moment what the fact that the thought of abandoning the man actually said for his character in reality… so often did people want to be the great caring and strong leader but so few answered the call. “That ends now..” He states swallowing down his fear hard as he feels another kido spooling up below. He aims his palm downward. “Hado 33!” He cries, “Shakkaho!” An explosion of red light bursts from his hand and shoots downward leaving a crimson tracer before exploding in fantastic color against the black of night on the ground below.  Two of the three bandits below dodged in time but one began hysterically wailing out in pain. The first step in his plan was to keep them from rushing the tree so he could think of an actual plan. He gains the best balance he could and holds a wide and strong stance before hoisting Ikenzo up and slinging him over his shoulder and leaping out the backward direction of the tree, gently but quickly floating to the ground. The kido blast he fired had caused a small fire to begin collecting around the base of the tree and prevented the other two, who were preoccupied with moving their friend from the battlefield.

Jim rests Ikenzo against another tree and turns around promptly, attempting to calm himself mentally he rushes toward the orange orb of light resting before the tree he had just left, intending to finish the last two adversaries himself. “I’m an officer of the ninth division..” He mutters, gripping the handle of his blade tighter as he makes his way closer t what would surely be his next battlefield. “I wont be bested by a mere soul who learned a kido spell.. He emerges from behind the tree, the two men hovered over there friend performing frantic motions as one calls out to him, “Hang in there Bojuma!”, their arms and portions of their upper clothing soaked in blood dark enough to match the night around. The one who had been dressed slightly different and more privileged than the others, the one who fired the Kido spell slowly stands, locking eyes with the Bandana Clad Shinigami. Clearly he was the stronger of the remaining two and so would face off against Jim while his only able bodied back up tended to their injured party. “Why is your uniform different?” Jim calls to the man, his attire putting him in mind of the general they had fought against during one of their earlier missions out in Rukognai. “This uniform is a response.” He replies, drawing his weapon as well, flourishing it about in a twirl encircling his hand to attempt and hint at his prowess with his straight sword. “Birthed from the desire to give the Shinigami the message that we no longer need or want them.” To this Jim merely Shakes his head, “No.” he states, “Many districts are accepting the Aid from my current Commanding officer, and those districts are benefiting tenfold because of it.” He holds his strong warriors stance upon reaching the point of space he desired between he and the man, “Only the Wicked Souls such as yourself… evil but not lost enough to fall to hollowhood…. Wish to send such a message to the Shinigami.

The mans expression turns to one of controlled anger, “You’re the ones evil but not lost enough to become hollows.” He repeats Jims phrasing, “And it’s made you far worse creatures because of it.” The time for talk had concluded as the Bandit began his advance toward the ninth Division officer striking a pose poised for a planned stab the closer he gets. There is silence save for the crackling of the fire slowly getting larger before the burst of aggression from the adversary as he cries out and dashes forward, blade angled downward for an upward swing. Jim remains in his stance and lifts his blade at a slight angle as well, counter to that which his enemy was displaying. Jim swings downward with great strength and the two weapons clang together. Instantly upon strike the bandit removes his blade from the clash and attempts another swing over head. Jim bounces backward and slaps the strike away with the end of his blade, bouncing once more on the balls of his feet before spinning around quickly and landing a solid kick to the mans upper abdomen and lower chest are. The attacker practically runs backward a few paces before charging forth yet again, viciously swinging his blade in a flurry of directions. The two then engage in a pattern of striking and blocking and foot work, each trying to gain a hand over the other, each slowly being weighed down by the weight of battle and the heat of the fire. Which was now making its way up the tree. The Bandit dashes backward and fires Byakurai once more, Jim not expecting such a maneuver is forced to accept the hit, tearing through the fleshy part of his shoulder he falls to his knee briefly before standing up and looking to the man rushing him. Suddenly, something in his mind snaps as if it were but a mere twig.

Jim views the man running , illuminated by the orange of the fire, blade held high and his mind’s eye begins to see the events of the first battle of the shadow war. He was right back there for a moment, in the horrid mud and cold of that morning, body so tired from genuine hours of sword based combat and killing that his lungs were burning, and the cold air only made it worse.. but if they stopped they would be killed. He looks over to Yuroshima, cloaked in a different veil during this battle and hiding his spiritual pressure, also only fighting melee so his identity as a high level Shinigami would be unknown. The lieutenant looks back to him, veiled face covered in mud… he sees the look in Yuroshimas eye. He sees the battle still dragging on, clear to the evening, everyone so tired and wounded, lunknig around throwing sloppy wide arced hits attempting to batter the other side to death. Yuroshima genuinely stood atop a mountain of men he and his subordinates, largely the only able bodied warriors left on their side of the battle field, had spent the entirety of the time gathering. Finally though the ranks of men Jim found himself in, as he lead the separate assault, had been broken through. Masses of weaker souls but greater in number begin flooding around them and eventually dog piling him. Jim is stuck and forced beneath so many bodies of the dead and half dead..and even the living attempting to turn him to one of the former. Bodily fluids, mostly blood, spill all over him as he claws and slashes his way from this riotous half standing crowd of intertwining bodies locked in combat. He screams out, his mind no longer bearing the sight of the dead faces with their eyes open as he pushes a man aside and finds an opening, falling over one dead body and onto another, he sees for his first personal time, the Gray glistening eyes of Yuroshima locked onto him.. and holding a look of great fear as he runs towards his comrade. Jim is confused, his mind partially blocking out the seriousness of the situation he and the Lieutenant were in… but that’s when the sword was thrust through his mid section from behind and the brute strength of he who dealt the blow began twist and wrenching and forcing the blade deeper, blood flowing from the officers mouth free as his head was forced down and he was made to look into the eyes of the dead he layed atop.. ready to join them whether he liked it or not…

These events dance around in the officer’s mind and his body acts out of pure fear and defense as he charges the man., eyes wide and blade thrown aside.

Whoosh! Clang!  The sound of battle erupt around the Lieutenant as he maneuvers around using his Na Hashi Zanjustu to its near extent to spin and twirl his Sheathed Zanpakuto around in a series of seemingly random strikes and blocks, systematically and slowly using Bakudo to incapacitate his attackers. Parrying one, side stepping gripping an attackers head to move him and then striking the other.. this form of multi person combat without use of fatal wounds was the essence of his Na Hashi Zanjutsu but being a rather inexperienced Lieutenant despite his accomplishments so far he often found difficulty in maintaining perfectly, the concentration required to keep such a chain of blocks and strikes going indefinitely. After time they were subdue albeit would need healing as would he and his own subordinates. He can still hear Jim locked in his struggle. He turns to see the officer rolling on the ground and trading blows with a bandit, while the other attempted to stop the bleeding from his friend who laid on the ground, his left leg had been blown off, going as far up as the knee but only in certain parts. Jim began yelling out loudly and frequently before lifting the Bandit above his body and slamming him down, then raising his sword above his head as if it were an axe which he was going to finish the man with. “Jim!” The Lieutenant shouts, using his Shunpo to appear before the Ninth division officer and place the palm of his hand against the bottom of the hilt of the raised weapon, then using the other hand to envelope Jim in a geki spell. He then rushes to the bandit whose leg had been blown off before going to Ikenzo considering the Bandit was going to die likely within moments at this point.

The lieutenant pulls from the back of his sash, the small talisman like Sai that was Kan’Yo Na Hira. Ikenzo who had been propped against a tree still hears the Lieutenant call out the name of the healing Zanpkauto he had references towards but never seen, and never felt its calming presence so strongly until now realizing that this is where the fable like myths of the Lieutenants peaceful “aura” had come from. Two shimmering gold hands cup around the dying man, and a golden light begins to wash over him.

Yuroshima then makes a break towards Ikenzo who had been attempting to heal his own wound and while he was actually able to slow the bleeding enough to remain conscious he wasn’t proficient enough in his Kaido yet to actually heal the wound or even fully stop the bleeding. The Lieutenant kneels next to him, and a shimmering gold light, different than the usual Kaido light for this was the same as Kan’Yo, forms around the Veiled shinigamis hands and soon appears over the injured parties wounds who looks on in amazement, his Zanpakuto genuinely supplemented FOR his Kaido in a complete and total way for even his normal Kaido usage was influenced by her where all his nurture and healing based energy came from.

Yuroshima sends out his own Hell Butterfly to summon the last of the collection parties and he Ikenzo and Jim wait together. “I’m sorry Lieutenant.” Jim offers, but Yuroshima rejects his apology, “No Jim.” He begins, “This was my fault, this was my poor call as a leader, my inexperience leading others shouldn’t have to be your problem .” He pauses a moment, “I feel you should take some recovery time once we get back to camp.” To this the ninth division officer nods, “That’s reasonable.” He agrees in a defeated tone derived from his great pride which now felt wounded by his inability to keep cam, something he was unable to understand as “not his fault,” , a trait his anonymous comrade hoped to change. “You won’t get in trouble for the injury to the man’s leg as the circumstances legally filed this incident as a natural and necessary byproduct of battle considering they were rushing to kill you and Ikenzo and you had to stop them.” The lieutenant explains to him before pausing and allowing him a moment to understand everything the Lieutenant was telling him for he still seemed to be in quite a daze from his slight break earlier. “And I know you better than to think you were aiming at him.” He adds sharply. “Oh of course not Lieutenant, I would never knowingly aim my Kido at a rukognai soul, I couldn’t even see them through the dark and the many branches and leaves..” He replies to what he half suspected to be a question. To this the Veiled one nods, “I thought not, that being said though I will do what I can for him.” He states attempting to ease jims conscious although it wasn’t a lie, he was going to keep this Bandit at the medical camps rather than sending him to prisons of the Seireitei in order to use him to practice reforming limbs and progress in his Kaido efficiency.

In the meantime of waiting Yuroshima approaches the Bandit who had been dressed differently, bound with his comrades to a particularly thick trunked tree with a Hainawa rope, all but the one whose leg had been blown off…all but “Bojuma”. He stands in front of the differently uniformed combatant who looks back to him with visible anger and disgust, the anonymous Shinigami begins his questioning. “Are you affiliated with Melsara and his forming army?”, The Bandit knew that the Lieutenant already knew that he himself was and so further explains, “I am, the others aren’t.. there was only one of us sent to each group.” He tells yuro, hoping for an ease in the sentence to come later. “Who taught you that Kido?” The Restoration Specialist continues, “One of Melaras himselves Generals, I had been taught the kido cause the Forest Camps wouldn’t be receiving any of the weapons.” “Weapons?” The lieutenant contuse on that strand immediately, “Those I don’t know much about., I swear.” The Bandit states regretfully, “I just know they fire Kido, I don’t think you even have to know the Kido to use them but I really don’t know. To this Yuroshima nods, that was fine, he was sure he would find out from San soon anyhow.

The mission was now complete. San and his team had bound up the bandit members and had begun there way back towards the Restoration camp.  San's team members would remain behind rounding up the bandits and moving them securely to the necessary holding facilities. While also securing and disposing the reiatsu based weapons. The seated officer would travel with just the main bandit leader, and one of his weapons. Along the way he would try and interrogate and learn whatever information the bandit camp leader would be willing to share. In the end it wouldnt be too much, much of nothing but snide remarks. The man had a sense of loyalty and honor, something San could appreciate even with the man on the other side of the conflict. "I can respect your loyalty to your cause but you have to understand we are not like the shingami you have come to hate and distrust. We truly wish for a better life for all the citizens within the districts. Any information you could give or willing to give would help out greatly. Try and put your pride aside and look to the future. These weapons will only cause more chaos and destruction. Not only for the current conflict between us and you but for others, others that would oppose you or us." The fifth seat said as he walked behind the bound man. The man would stop in his tracks and turn around looking at San in his face. "I have nothing to say, your empty promises or "better life" is just lies as always. Those weapons will do nothing but allow us, the citizens to not be afraid or stuck under the Gotei 13 thumb. We will finally have a means to truly combat you... The man would spit to San's feet before turning back and walking. Clearly the man had distrust for soul reapers all together for unknown reasons. To believe that these weapons would bring the districts a way to rise up and become there own, was foolish. The Gotei 13 members were more then just kido users, they were trained like Salvatore himself to be death dealers. Abilities to achieve speeds and power on par with what humans would think of a god. Not to mention there swords, the weapons that can destroy cities, districts, and even monsterous beings with ease. Truly the only thing that would come of these weapons would be devastation and more focus from the soul society, focus like military rule. "You cant be dumb enough to think such a way. All those weapons or fighting us will do is add to our efforts and support. As well as creating more of a reason for the central forty six to press with military action.... The rest of the way remained silent until the walked over the mountain side, a peered into the valley below.

There below was the Restoration main camp, and it seemed squad fours Lieutenant had already arrived. Other bandits members were seen bound to a tree, San grinned, the mission seemed to have been successful on both fronts. The camp leader with San turned to the officer we anger in his eyes as he realized the other camps were also taken out. "You see your efforts will be futile, you may have some strong warriors, weapons or numbers, but it only takes a few well placed and dedicated Reapers to ruin your efforts. I ask you once more, please tell me what you know, the less blood shed on either side is my goal. Those weapons will only force our hand to use such effort in our defense." Again the man would shake his head before trying to spin kick, sweeping at Salvatores head. The seated officer lept slightly into the air before driving his own foot to the mans head, knocking him out cold.

Moments later San would walk into the gates of the camp, with leader thrown over his shoulder. Squad four medics would approach as before. "He is only knocked out, please place him with the other bandits, but please make sure guards are posted he is quite angry. The medics would nod taking the prisoner, but one remianed behind. He gave a look to the seated officer, one that was returned with a look of confusion. "Um, where is the Lieutenant?" The squad four officer would wave his hand towards the main tent, there in the distance was the Vice Captain. The fifth seat would nod and begin to walk away. "Sir, what about your wound?" San turned around in disbelief as he did he looked down to realize his bandages were now somewhat red. It seemed the strenuous activity had caused his wounds to reopen, not much but enough to stain the white bandages. "Ill come back in a moment....The wounds werent severely just a simply reopen, so talking to the Lieutenant was first priority, next he could re bandage and healed.

Walking up the the Lieutenant who was sitting outside his tent, leaning upon a crate. San would nod and wave as he was within a few meters."All go as planned Lieutenant?" Now a few feet away the Seated officer would begin to go over his part of the mission, and findings. He would present the Lieutenant with a map of possible future or current other bandits camps scattered threwout the surrounding area. He would also explain the bandits being transported here now, while also touching base on the two camps seemed to be leader. Not leader in general just of the camps he had dealt with. "Overall the mission was a success, not fatalities on our side or there's. However the head of the camp i encountered is currently here, taking a nap. He is loyal to his cause and would not give much information, maybe you could get something out of him when he awakes. Though what is troubling the most is what i found at the second installation. The officer would pull out the reiatsu gun and place it along the crate next to the Lieutenant. "I have seen a weapon like this before but not in the same manner. These weapons seem to focus the reiatsu from the air/ surroundings like a quincy would. Focusing it into bullets of energy. We uncovered two gates full of various weapons of the sort, which are now being destroyed. Back to what i have seen, i seen versions of these but canon forms created by squad 12 that uses a reapers power to fire kido for training purposes. However it could be these are stolen plans, adapted into a way the bandits could use them, or even worse case a traitor within the squad 12 providing or even creating these weapons. I know someone back in the Soul Society that could point me in the right direction. For now keep aware they are being outfitted by someone with enough intelligence or pull to get such weapons....Besides that all went well on my end, how about you sir?

"After the next few exchanges of the conversation San would make his leave back to his district picking Zeus up along the way. While back in his squad begin his investigation as well as pull for the troops that the Lieutenant much needed even more so after the recent findings.

After debriefing San as to what had happened on his portion of the mission and learning of the presence of the strange kido based weapons the bandits he encountered possessed Yuro would say his goodbyes and San would then depart to fulfill the troop request. As he leaves a black clad figure, face hidden by a black veil, would silently approach behind the Lieutenant and stand still awaiting orders, “Inform Elder Zarrow that I have rid his district of the rising camps sooner than later after all” He states remembering back to earlier of how he had told the District leader that they shouldn’t worry about that threat quite yet but had viewed Sans arrival as a chance to get that out of the way quickly, and indeed the fifth seat had handled it all in such a proficient manner that the Lieutenant would have an offer for him upon his return.. and return he would. The black veiled Shinigami nods and silently vanishes from sight with the employment of Shunpo, gone off to perform his task.

The next morning Yuroshima rose from his “Bed.” Which was simply padding by a chest, in irritation for this was the eighth consecutive day he had woken up due to back pain from lack luster sleep conditions. These were still better than the conditions he had lived in previously to joining the Thirteen Court Guard Squads but he would be lying if he had said he didn’t miss his room and bed, perhaps he could find a way of fashioning a better bed out here? He sits at the edge of the floor padding, staring blankly at the ground a moment while day dreaming of ways to craft a bed from the materials around although most avenues ended up becoming rather silly and unrealistic as his morning fantasies often did before he falls back into a laying position, grabbing his Shinigami uniform which lay sprawled about at his bedside. He begins dressing on his back starting at the legs and working up ending with his white veil. Strolling across the tent to wicker tables he had been using as makeshift counters he retrieves a crude looking metal pot and spoon. A large ceramic jar rests next to the two cooking instruments filled with some unknown tea the Lieutenant had received from an elderly traveler on the convoys way out this far. Using the large spoon he digs out a few scoops into the metal pot and makes his way towards the exit of his tent.

The Veiled Restoration Specialist approaches the large bonfire in the center of camp, the primary social area of “Camp A”, which had on one side multiple metal grill racks over the fire which he then places his pot atop. He stares a moment at the deep gray and billowing smoke stacks rising from the enormous fire they had built before one of his subordinates breaks his attention. “Oh!” He says in a cheerful manner as he too approaches the grill racks, “Good Morning Lieutenant.” He greets his superior officer. Yuroshima looks back to him and offers a smile back with his eyes, “Good morning Anton.” He replies to one of his lower level healers before attempting small talk, “How goes living the camp life?” To this the subordinate shrugs, placing a pot of his own atop the rack next to the Lieutenants but in place of tea his contained coffee, “About as good as camp living in this way can be I suppose.” He begins, “It hasn’t been so bad though, aside from the recent increase of patients wandering in.” Anton finishes, turning his attention from the coffee to the Restoration Corps Commander who then replies, “Indeed, although the increase is a good thing considering that there hasn’t been an increase in cause see? Which then only leaves an increase in trust and I’ve heard similar reports from the other camps luckily.” This causes Anton to smile, reinstilling in him that the work they were doing out here was indeed important.. and he once again felt pride in the fact that they were the only ones doing it in place tired fatigue. “That is good news.” He says, “Would you want any of my coffee?” he waves his hand over the direction of his boiling brew to which the Lieutenant politely refuses, “No no…Thank you though.” He states, “I don’t like Coffee very much.” He pauses a moment taking in the rich aroma which was always accompanied by memories of childhood, “I do love the smell of it though….hmm you know maybe...” He redeems.

Bojuma lays flat on his back on a cot with an overstuffed mattress like bed part, staring at the grayish white canvas roof above him. He was hooked up to an IV to keep his fluids in circulation as he had not been eating or drinking much due to depression beginning to set in over the loss of his limb.. he truly felt low and defeated. To the side of the cot was a desk lit by lantern, at it sat one of the lower seated healers of Division four reading over the small amount of paper work before the important arrival of today.

All was quiet save for the scratch like dragging sound of the healer writing at the “desk” until the Lieutenant walked in. Bojmas attention snaps to him as the gentle intoxicating feeling of comfort emits into the room from his presence. Yuroshima is holding two tin mugs around waist level before lifting one up to his veil and taking in its aroma. He sets the other tin down on top of a supplies cabinet and takes a sip of the other under the front cloth of his Veil. Quickly he shakes his head in disproval, “Oh yeah no….thats awful.” He says out loud to himself, “Alllhk.” He looks to his subordinate, “JJ, will you please drink this coffee? I don’t want to waste it.” To this the healer smiles and laughs out his nose, “Of course Lieutenant, I woke up late and didn’t get to brew my own anyhow.” He replies with a smile.

Yuroshima then walks to the bedside of the Bandit, “Good morning.” He says in as friendly a tone he could muster.
