The Bount(バウント,Baunto) are a group of Humans that live by consuming Human souls (Pluses), as well as Shinigami and Quincy souls which potentially increases their abilities. Bounts are living beings similar to the Quincy, the difference being that they have a special component that is encompassed by a Human soul. Bounts have the unique ability to absorb Human souls, making them their own. It is as a result of this ability that Bounts at various times in Human history were labeled "Vampires". As the accidental creations of a Shinigami Scientist. they were once affiliated with Soul Society. As part of the New World Alliance, the Bounts have been recognized as an independent nation. They own several territories within Karakura.


Bount & Doll Growth Paths and Stat Calculations

Master and Servant Path:

In this relationship, of the Bount being a Master and the Doll being their "servant", the Doll is the base and core for all of the power. Because of this, the Bount is a potential target at all times even though they command the Doll.

Stat Calculation: Until a Doll is manifested, the stats are fully applied to the Bount. Upon Manifestation, the stats will be applied to the Doll instead and the Bounts stats will become 0.40 of the total stats.

Companionship Path:

In this relationship the bond between the Doll and the Bount is one of friendship and mutual cooperation. In this case, the power is not focused purely upon the Doll or the Bount but is shared between the two allowing for unique combat experiences but use of the Doll is exhausting on the user.

Stat Calculation: The stats are primarily based upon the Bount, and should the Bount manifest the Doll, they would both have the same stats completely. [iE. Stats are not split nor divided but both have the maximum stats]

Bount Releases

"Zeige Dich!": German for"Show yourself!", is used by all the Bounts to summon their Doll. It is similar to a Shikai command; the difference is that all Bounts have the same release command.

Master and Servant Release Path:

Partial Doll Creation: The Bount, when first obtaining control of the Doll, can only summon an item or object that is a portion of the power the doll has. Once learned, this version can be used with ease and requires little energy to manage. Although this release will eventually be replaced entirely by the Manifested Doll Release.

- Must be 5,000 Reiatsu

- Must post a 1,500 WC learning

- Release unlocks 1 passive release ability and 2 technique slots when activated. These techniques must be based around the release ability.

- Partial Doll Release Boost: None.

Manifested Doll: The Bount has now gained control and focus in order to manifest the Doll entirely into a full solid form. Now the Doll can fight on its own and becomes the focus of the Bount's power. However, this release will eventually be replaced by Mastered Doll.

- Must be 25,000 Reiatsu

- Must post a 1,500 WC learning

- Release unlocks 1 passive release ability and 5 technique slots when activated. These techniques must be based around the release ability. (Doll Only)

- Manifested Doll Release Boost: +4,000 reiatsu and +4 to all stats note that this numbers will not be doubled by your class and specialty skill.

Mastered Doll: The Bount has completely submitted the Doll under their control and established dominance over the Doll. With the control established, the Doll itself will be able to reach a level of power far greater than before.

- Must be 60,000 Reiatsu

- Must post a 1,500 WC learning

- Release unlocks 1 passive release ability and 11 technique slots when activated. These techniques must be based around the release ability. (Doll Only)

- Mastered Doll Release Boost: +12,000 reiatsu and +12 to all stats note that this numbers will not be doubled by your class and specialty skill.

Companionship Release Path:

Gift of the Doll: Permanent Release after first use. Upon the first creation of the Doll, the Bount is granted power instantly even if the Doll is not manifested and these powers remain constant.

- Must be 5,000 Reiatsu

- Must post a 1,500 WC learning

- Release unlocks 1 passive release ability and 2 technique slots when activated. These techniques must be based around the release ability. (Bount Only)

- Gift of the Doll Release Boost: None.

- Gift of the Doll abilities can be used with any future releases.

Doll Manifestation: The Bount can, at any point, choose to manifest their Doll in a standard form and not as nearly as powerful as a Master and Servant Mastered Doll could manage. The power between both the Bount and Doll in this manner is greater but there is a condition for the use of the Doll.

- Must be 25,000 Reiatsu

- Must post a 1,500 WC learning

- Release unlocks 1 passive release ability and 3 technique slots when activated. These techniques must be based around the release ability. (Doll Only)

- Lasts 3 Turns. (4 Turn Cooldown after use)

- Doll Manifestation Release Boost: +4,000 reiatsu and +4 to all stats note that this numbers will not be doubled by your class and specialty skill.

- Doll Manifestation must be active to use Doll Fusion.

Doll Fusion: The bond between the Doll and the Bount is greater when a friendship is born and managed, and it is then that true power can be born for a Bount. In this release that Bount and their Doll merge as one. Combining their abilities and attaining new power.

- Must be 70,000 Reiatsu

- Must post 1,500 WC learning

- Release unlocks 1 passive release ability and 7 technique slots when activated. These techniques must be based around the release ability. (Access to all other abilities is retained)

- Doll Fusion Release Boost: +15,000 reiatsu and +15 to all stats note that this numbers will not be doubled by your class and specialty skill. Boost also does not stack with Doll Manifestation Boost.

Bount Duality "Twin Dolls"

Bount Specific Duality Effect

"Twin Dolls":

Master and Servant Path-"Twin Dolls": Grants the Bount access to a secondary Doll. The 2 Ability Slots gained from Duality can be used on the Dolls only, but one Doll will have one element and the secondary doll will have the other. The Dolls can be used individually or together. Twin Dolls gives the character the chance to control and manage two completely different dolls. Twin Dolls also has a unique effect.

-Rally!: The Bount commands the two Dolls to merge, joining their powers of the two dolls into one full Doll. Merged Doll form makes the Doll invincible for the turn of activation. 1 use every 5 turns.

Companionship Path-"Twin Dolls": Grants the Bount access to a secondary Doll (with 50% of the stats of the Primary Doll). The 2 Ability Slots gained from Duality can be distributed as pleased, but one Doll will have one element and the secondary doll will have the other. The Dolls can be used individually or together. Twin Dolls gives the character the chance to control and manage two completely different dolls. Twin Dolls also has a unique effect.

-Tie of Kinship: Bount and their Dolls stand united in spirit even if they are not physically together their bond only grows stronger when the Dolls are summoned to the battle field. Each time Doll Manifestation is off Cooldown and Doll Manifestation is activated the first attack received after the activation will only do 50% damage, regardless of who the attack lands on, or if it lands or not.

**Note: Unlike most other Races, the Bounts have a system for Racial Abilities --Soul Charge System-- that doesn't use WC to learn the techniques. Instead, WC is a requirement to gain uses of the techniques which are available by default to all Bounts that meet the level critiria for their use.

Soul Charges: Soul Charges are generated by the Bount's consumption of souls and they are gathered to use the Soul Empowerment Techniques. Consuming a soul grants a single Soul Charge.

- Collecting Soul Charges allows the Bount to use Soul Empowerment Techniques.

- To consume a soul and gain 1 Soul Charge requires 500 WC. It must be a single post to gather a single soul (A 1,000 WC post does not reward 2 Soul Charges).

- For every 10 Soul Charges you posess, the WC required to obtain more will increase by an extra 500. (1-10 = 500 wc, 11-20 = 1000 wc, etc)

- Souls of other RP characters are worth 20 Soul Charges. If you kill a fellow Bount, consuming their soul will cause all their Soul Charges to be passed on to you. This however is the only way for Soul Charges to be exchanged unless you are the Covenant Lord.

- There is no limit to how many Soul Charges can be collected.

Bitto: The Bitto are mosquito-like beings which drain the souls from Humans and condense the energy into a purified liquid for the Bount to drink. They even produce a useful vial in their sacs to store the elixir, which takes the form of a red, glowing, blood-like liquid. After the soul elixir has been ingested, the Bount who took it immediately experiences the effects, with veins popping from their skin. They serve as a tool used to help collect Soul Charges.

- After reaching 30k Reiatsu every time a Bount collects 10 Soul Charges, they can post receiving a Bitto Gift which contains a number of bonus Soul Charges;

31k+: 5 Bonus Soul Charges.

61k+: 10 Bonus Soul Charges.

101k+: 15 Bonus Soul Charges.

 

Soul Empowerment Techniques:

Soul Empowerment Techniques: Soul Bounts are considered the "Soul Suckers" of the world, quite literally, and are generally compared to Vampires in many cultures. Each one has made a conscious decision to be a vicious feeder of the souls, consume souls sparingly, months at a time, or even at a medium. In any case, consuming the souls of another beings grants them unique powers. These "unique powers" are the Soul Empowerment Techniques.

Bount Protégé Level:

Protégé can hunt for souls alone or with the supervision of their mentor. However, it may not be uncommon for protégé Bounts to hunt together.

#1: Soul Verstopfung - 1 Soul Charges

Meaning:Soul Block

Description: The Bount expels energy from their body through their hand in order to block an attack.

#2: Soul Sprengen - 2 Soul Charges

Meaning:Soul Blast

Description: The Bount unleashes a build up of power in order launch an explosive energy with a short range in front of the Bount.

#3: Soul Granate - 2 Soul Charges

Meaning:Soul Grenade

Description: The Bount launches a ball of energy that will either detonate on contact or upon the will of the Bount.

Matured Bount/ Baron Level:

You need to be at least 30k Reiatsu to use these techniques. From there on you can learn them on your own. These are more advanced Soul Empowerment techniques used only by Bount who have passed the protégé stage and have been hardened into matured Bounts. As such, to be able to use these techniques you need a minimum of 60 points in Reiryoku.

Meaning:Soul Barrier

Description: The Bount will expel energy from their entire body, the energy will condense and form a sphere around the Bount to protect them.

#5: Soul Frallen - 4 Soul Charges

Meaning:Soul Swipe

Description: The Bount swings their arm in an arch and discharge a wave of destructive energy.

#6: Entkommen! - 5 Soul Charges

Meaning:Escape!

Description: The Bount and their Doll both discharge Soul Charges. Summons the Bount to their Doll from any location.

#7: Zu mir! - 5 Soul Charges

Meaning:To Me!

Description: The Bount and their Doll both discharge Soul Charges. Summons the Doll to the Bount from any location.

#8: Gegen Schritt! - 6 Soul Charges

Meaning:Counter Strike!

Description: The Bount and their Doll both discharge Soul Charges. And the Bount and the Doll swap positions from any location.

Count/ Successor to the Lord Level:

Only Covenant Counts and Bounts of the highest rank below Count can use these spells, but you can learn it on your own now. This is one of the most advanced forms of Soul Empowerment Techniques, as such you need at least 121 points in Reiryoku to learn them.

Meaning: Soul Displacement

Description: The Bount and their doll are covered in shrouds of energy. While this shroud is present, the Bount and the Doll swap powers. (Lasts 1 Turn- 4 Turn Cooldown)

#10: Soul Synergie - 3 Soul Charges [Companionship Path Exclusive]

Meaning:Soul Synergy

Description: The Bount and their doll are covered in shrouds of energy. While this shroud is present, the Bount can use Soul Empowerment Techniques that are executed by the Doll rather than the Bount. (Lasts 1 Turn- 3 Turn Cooldown)

#11: Verstärken - 4 Soul Charges

Meaning:Amplify

Description: Rings of energy temporarily surround the Bounts wrists like bracelets. The power of any offensive Soul Empowerment Techniques used while they are present is amplified. (Lasts 1 Turn)

Covenant Lord Level:

Only the Covenant Lord can use these techniques. You need a minimum of 161 points in Reiryoku.

#19: Herrn Gebot - (Varying)

Meaning:Lord's Degree

Description: As the Covenant Lord, the Bount will gain the ability to take and bestow Soul Charges at their will.

Bestowal; The Lord can give any number of their possessed Soul Charges to another Bount.

Expropriation; The Lord can take up to 1/3 of any other Bount's Soul Charges. (1 Use per Week. Can't be used on the same Bount twice within 2 weeks of the first time.)

#20: Herrn Schwert - 15 Soul Charges

Meaning:Lord's Sword

Description: Upon activation the Covenant Lord will manifest a golden longsword that appears to be ablaze with a golden flame. The longsword has devastaing damage potential. It can also "eat" the Soul Empowerment techniques of other Bounts, taking the Soul Charges and storing them in the sword. The Covenant Lord can also feed the sword Soul Charges of his own. (Sword Lasts 4 turns- 2 Turn Cooldown. 2 uses per battle)

"Im Befehl des Herrn, weg sein!" (By order of the Lord, be gone!); The Covenant Lord can use the charges stored within the sword to release massively destructive blasts of energy that splashes over a moderate distance in front of the Bount when they swing the sword. Each blast is powerful enough to completely clear an area. (Costs 5 Soul Charges per use. If the attack lands on an incoming enemy 2 Soul Charges are restored.)

The Sword can be wielded by the Doll or the Bount. [Master and Servant Path Exclusive Effect]
