  1. The Shinigami - Shinigami (死神, death god(s); Viz "Soul Reaper(s)") are guardians of the souls who are going through the circle of transmigration. In ancient times, they were known as Balancers (調整者 (ãƒãƒ©ãƒ³ã‚µãƒ¼), BaransÄ). They purify Hollows who do evil in the World of the Living and ensure the safe crossing of souls - the Pluses who have lost their way after death - by giving them a soul burial. Shinigami are the opposite of the Quincy. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ What Makes a Shinigami? Shinigami are unearthly beings living in a world ruled by a different logic than the World of the Living. They possess high Reiryoku and a body of Reishi. They are invisible to those without spiritual powers. ShinÅreijutsuin (真央霊術院, Spiritual Arts Academy), sometimes called the Shinigami Academy. Located in the Seireitei, the academy trains Souls with spiritual powers for each of the three military arms of Soul Society. When souls with exceptional spiritual energy train their bodies, they reach the level of Shinigami. The most talented of them become affiliated with various organizations like the Gotei 13 and the OnmitsukidÅ. The majority of potential Shinigami are born among the residents of the Seireitei, but in some rare cases are born in the Rukongai. Shinigami receive salaries, like workers in the Human World and also earn bounties for defeating Hollows. All Shinigami have vents at their wrists which release their Reiatsu. - Shinigami have a number of supernatural abilities: Longevity: Shinigami do not visibly age at the same rate as Humans and tend to maintain a youthful appearance for centuries. Shinigami can live for much longer than Humans, with some Shinigami being over 1,000 years old and does not reach old age before being at least 2,100 years old. Enhanced Durability: While Shinigami can be injured and killed like regular Humans, it takes considerably greater injuries to kill a Shinigami than it would to kill Humans. Decapitation is the only guaranteed method of killing a Shinigami. Reiryoku: Shinigami naturally possess high levels of Spiritual Power, which varies greatly in magnitude with the strength of a Shinigami. The more power a Shinigami has, the sharper their movements will be. A consequence of having Spiritual Power is that unlike powerless spirits, Shinigami need to eat. Reiatsu: The Reiatsu of a Shinigami will continue to ceaselessly flow, for as long as the heart is still beating. If the heart beats then it is an impossibility for the Reiatsu to cease. Due to this reasoning the prisoners that are kept imprisoned in the "Muken" cannot die as there is no executioner in Soul Society with the power to stop their heart. ZanpakutÅ: A Shinigami weapon, its shape is typically similar to a Japanese katana. Low ranking officers are issued an Asauchi sword, but high-ranking officers arm themselves with unique swords generated from their own souls. A ZanpakutÅ is a physical manifestation of this force concentrated into a blade. All Shinigami have a ZanpakutÅ, but not all of them carry one with them. Its shape differs depending on its owner. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ A Shinigami's Duty KonsÅ (魂葬, Soul Burial): the process by which a Shinigami sends wandering Pluses in the Human World to Soul Society if they are good in life or Hell if their life was full of evil acts (such as murders, theft, etc.). KonsÅ is performed by using the hilt of the Shinigami's ZanpakutÅ, tapping the soul on their forehead and transporting them to the afterlife. Hollow Cleansing: When a Shinigami slays a Hollow with their ZanpakutÅ, they cleanse their sins. Once this takes place, a Hollow will return to its former state as a Plus and is led into Soul Society. This is called sublimation. Souls that live in Soul Society are reborn again into the Human World. Not all Hollows are sent to the Soul Society. Since ZanpakutÅ are only capable of cleansing sins committed after becoming a Hollow, Hollows that committed serious crimes when they were still Human are sent to Hell when they are slain. Soul Governance: Shinigami are responsible for governing the flow of spirits between the Human World and Soul Society. This is commonly carried out by balancing the total number of souls by moving and managing them in the Human world. All of the soul-related jobs are under their authority. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Zankensoki Zankensoki are the basic Shinigami fighting techniques. Zan refers to sword fighting techniques. Ken refers to unarmed fighting techniques. So refers to moving techniques. Ki refers to KidÅ. The four categories that make up for the Shinigami battle prowess are the following; Zanjutsu: Sword fighting techniques for the ZanpakutÅ. The most basic fighting technique. Hakuda: An unarmed fighting technique that makes use of one's own body in a fight. HohÅ: The name for all high-speed fighting movements based on the art of Shunpo. KidÅ: Advanced spells that require strong spiritual power: HadÅ, BakudÅ and KaidÅ. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The ZanpakutÅ The ZanpakutÅ of low-ranking Shinigami are called Asauchi and do not have names, but the ZanpakutÅ of Shinigami of rank have names. In its sealed state, a ZanpakutÅ has the form of a Japanese sword. Such weapons are unique swords generated from their owner's souls. Its shape differs depending on its owner. ZanpakutÅ are the trademark weapons of the Shinigami. Capable of cutting spiritual bodies, they are among the few weapons which can be used to combat Hollows. Each Shinigami carries a ZanpakutÅ, and each ZanpakutÅ is unique: the swords are reflections of a Shinigami's power and soul, and sentient beings unto themselves. The ZanpakutÅ's name is the name of the living spirit which empowers the sword and lends its strength to the Shinigami who wields it. These beings can vary greatly in appearance, and have their own distinct personalities, which match their owner's. A ZanpakutÅ's shape and abilities are based on their Shinigami's soul. Once a Shinigami learns his/her sword's name, they can communicate with one another and grow stronger together. ZanpakutÅ are born with their Shinigami, and they die along with their Shinigami. Shinigami use them in battle as a reflection of their heart. When released, they can display a vibrant power. They are one with the Shinigami, and they share a Shinigami's conviction. Inside each ZanpakutÅ is an incarnation which manifests itself upon the ZanpakutÅ's transformation. The first step is to acquaint oneself with this incarnation. - ZanpakutÅ Facts Because they are part of their owner's soul, a ZanpakutÅ cannot be replaced, though it will slowly regenerate if it is broken. The size of the ZanpakutÅ reflects the amount of the swordsman's spiritual power. Exceptions to this rule are beings of immense power, who are required to actively control the size of their ZanpakutÅ. Every ZanpakutÅ has its own name, which the wielder must learn. A ZanpakutÅ can determine if its wielder is worthy of its power. Based on this, the ZanpakutÅ may choose not to give its true Bankai name (and its full potential) if it feels the wielder is not worthy. ZanpakutÅ have a true form. This true form resides inside their Shinigami. A ZanpakutÅ has a mind and a body, which control their powers. Shinigami can grow more powerful by communicating with them. ZanpakutÅ possess their own Reiatsu, which can be sensed as any Reiatsu can and is identical to their wielder's, though with subtle differences. It is possible for a Shinigami to lose harmony with their ZanpakutÅ if they are suffering from mental instability, resulting in the ZanpakutÅ spirit in question unable to hear their wielder's voice, and thus causing the Shinigami to lose access to the sword's Shikai despite knowing its name. No matter what form (or size) a ZanpakutÅ takes, it is always virtually effortless for its owner to wield because it is a part of its owner's soul. Shinigami captains all consciously keep their ZanpakutÅ in a manageable size, or else they would be holding ZanpakutÅ the size of skyscrapers, so one cannot judge the strength of one's opponent solely by the size of their ZanpakutÅ. No ZanpakutÅ in existence has a Shikai and a Bankai which use unrelated abilities. A ZanpakutÅ cannot use elemental attacks of more than one element. - Creating Your Power When creating your Shinigami's power you are for the most part free to use your imagination as far as you can take it. But there are a few taboo's that are heavily frowned upon by the community and should be avoided as best you could. Don't use multiple, unrelated and unexplained elements when creating your ZanpakutÅ. It's alright to get creative if you're smart about it. As example; Say you want something thematic with fire and ice. You'll have to get creative about it; create something new such as Frostfire perhaps. A merge between the elements where you have thought out its mechanics in an acceptable manner. But that's just that then, Frostfire - Not the power of both Fire and Ice. Avoid using multiple ZanpakutÅ's. You are only given one at the academy and it takes an immense amount of time for your soul resonance to bond with just one sword alone, imagine the lifetime of managing two. The few that are twin swords are so in their released Shikai state, not two different bodies. Do not use something as stupid as eye techniques, seriously, this is not Naruto. Nor is your ZanpakutÅ capable of altering your biogenetics. Avoid transmorphing abilities, like I just stated, your ZanpakutÅ isn't capable of altering your biogenetics. I.E; Don't magically turn into a random dragon, phoenix or whatever mythological creature or creation you can come up with; instead, have your sword transform into such things in a Bankai state. If you want something altering still, at least try and make sense out of it like Toshiro in the canon. He doesn't alter his biogenetics when gaining the wings and claw abilities, you want things like that, make sense with your add-ons through your ZanpakutÅ's ability. These are weapons first and foremost, not Harry Potter wands, keep that in mind. If you're going to borrow a power set from somewhere that isn't Bleach related at least try and make sense and alter it to fit with our universe. It makes very little sense seeing people run around with Susanoo's and Geass or Avatar bending when Shinigami's utilize either KidÅ or their ZanpakutÅ to pull off supernatural feats in battle. Avoid having some senseless bullshit of being able to create new dimensions or wormholes. Only bad people with no shame resolve to that kind of crap. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ KidÅ KidÅ (鬼é“, Demon/Spirit Way; Viz "Soul Reaper's powers"/"Spells"; sometimes translated as "Demon Arts") is a form of Shinigami combat based on advanced spells. These spells are produced with strong Reiryoku and fall into two categories: HadÅ for direct attacks, and BakudÅ for battle support. It is one of the techniques in the Zankensoki, the group of Shinigami primary combat skills. KidÅ spells are triggered by an incantation. Experienced users can trigger them without an incantation, though the effectiveness of the spell will be diminished. The KidÅ Corps is a branch of Soul Society's military which excels in the mastery of KidÅ. Most spells are graded on a scale from 1 to 99, spells of the latter being the most powerful and the most difficult to perform. To use KidÅ, a Shinigami must recite the specific incantation for the spell, which is often long and requires a few seconds to speak. The power of a spell relies on the power of the user, as even a low-level spell can be utterly devastating when utilized by a high-class Shinigami. - There are three main types of KidÅ: binding spells, destruction spells, and healing spells. BakudÅ (縛é“, Way of Binding): Supplementary spells which can immobilize an enemy or have an effect besides a direct strike. They may seem subtle, but these spells can give their users a tactical advantage when used properly. These are a broad category of defensive spells which block/repel attacks or freezes enemies in place. This class of spells include KidÅ Barriers & Seals. List of spells: HadÅ (ç ´é“, Way of Destruction): Offensive spells which inflict direct damage to the enemy. Their effectiveness differs depending on the user. It is said the effectiveness of the higher-ranked spells are beyond imagination. List of spells: KaidÅ (回é“, Turn Way): Also known as healing KidÅ (治療用鬼é“, chiryÅyÅ kidÅ). These spells do not have known names, numbers, or incantations to cast, and simply heal the target. As the user holds his/her hands above the patient's wounds, his/her palms glow with green spiritual energy to facilitate healing. When one heals with regular healing kidÅ, they perform Reiatsu restoration first. By doing so, one can attempt to recover the physical body using the patient's restored Reiatsu and the healer's external Reiatsu. Therefore, restoring the Reiatsu when the physical body is in a fully healed state is no trouble at all. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Soul Society Soul Society (尸魂界 (ソウル・ソサエティ), Souru Sosaeti; Japanese for "Dead Spirit World") is an afterlife (also called the spirit world). This is also where Shinigami live and where most Souls dwell until they are reincarnated into the Human World. Soul Society consists of the Rukongai (æµé‚è¡—, Wandering Soul City; Viz "Rukon District"), where souls live when they arrive in Soul Society, and Seireitei (瀞霊廷, Court of Pure Souls), which is at the center of Soul Society. The mode of life here closely resembles that of feudal Japan. The Human World and Soul Society are parallel to each other and are two sides of the same coin. Families separated by death are rarely reunited in the Soul Society unless they arrive in Soul Society together. People live nestled together like a family of strangers. One never gets hungry (if she or he doesn't have spiritual powers) and aging is slowed to a great extent, with lifespans of 2000 or more years not being unheard of, though such ages are limited to Shinigami or other Soul Society dwellers with high spiritual power. Children can be born as they are in the Human World. People can also be killed as regular Humans are, though they are capable of surviving wounds that would normally be considered fatal. A soul that dies in Soul Society is reincarnated on Earth as a new Human with no past memories. - Rukongai (æµé‚è¡—, Wandering Soul City; "Rukon District") is the largest portion of Soul Society and the most populated. Rukongai is divided into 320 districts (80 in North Rukongai, 80 in West Rukongai, 80 in South Rukongai, 80 in East Rukongai), each numbered in descending order on how far they are from the center; this results in the higher-numbered (and farther) districts decaying into slums. Thus, while District 1 is peaceful and lawful, much like the antiseptic lifestyle of early-Edo Era Kyoto, District 80 is a hardscrabble, violent, crime-infested area that more depicts Heian era Kyoto. The duties of the Gotei 13 Divisions include defending allocated districts of Rukongai. However, which Division is responsible for which district has not been stated. The living standards in Rukongai decline sharply beyond the fiftieth district, with an increase in people wearing rags and no footwear. According to statistics from the last 550 years, no Rukongai resident wears sandals beyond District 59. Rukongai is full of families that are not related by blood. People die at different times and places, and it is rare for a person to find their real family in the vast Rukongai. When a soul arrives in Soul Society, they are given a ticket according to the time they died and are sent off in different directions. Even if two people were to die together, if they do not receive tickets at the same time, they will not know where the other is. When the balance of souls between the Human World and Soul Society is endangered, the Shinigami can request permission to kill citizens in Rukongai in order to restore the balance of souls between the two worlds. - Seireitei (瀞霊廷, Court of Pure Souls) is in the center of Soul Society. Seireitei is a circular shiro with four main entrances, ten days walk apart, each guarded by one of the Gatekeepers. These gates are collectively called the Four Great Pure Soul Gates (四大瀞霊門, Shidai Seireimon): these gates are made up of the Northern Black Ridge Gate (黒隆門, KokuryÅmon), the Eastern Blue Stream Gate (é’æµé–€, ShÅryÅ«mon), the Southern Red Hollow Gate (朱洼門, Shuwaimon), and the Western White Way Gate (白é“é–€, HakutÅmon). The gates are so heavy that they're nearly indestructible. There are, however, doors within the gates. The walls of Seireitei are made of Sekkiseki (殺気石, Spirit Reducing Stone), a rare type of stone known to negate all Reiryoku, similar to magnetic lodestones. The stone also forms a spherical barrier around the city, extending above and below, stopping anything spiritual from breaching it from ground level, from the sky or from underground. The wall that surrounds the Seireitei is commonly held up, only closing down when there is an emergency. When it is not down protecting the Seireitei, the wall protects the Soul King Palace, located in an inner dimension. Information about the Seireitei is confidential. What is known is that in the center of the Seireitei is a white tower known as the SenzaikyÅ«, where criminals are imprisoned; on the hill adjacent to it is the SÅkyoku, where prisoners are executed. Those permitted to live in the tranquility of the Seireitei are Shinigami and the Noble Houses. Shinigami live in the Division barracks, while high-ranking officers commute from their own homes. The majority of the residents of Seireitei, nobility and Shinigami alike, do not interact with the citizens of Rukongai. However, residents of Rukongai are allowed to apply for the Shin'Å Academy, which is often the only escape from the poorest conditions of Rukongai. - The Law's of Soul Society The ultimate law is to maintain balance. It is against the law for a Shinigami to give their spiritual power to Humans. It is against the law for a Shinigami to use forbidden KidÅ. It is against the law for any citizen of Soul Society to create weapons of a dangerous nature not sanctioned by the feudal government. To do so is treason. It is against the law to attack a captain. To do so is treason. It is against the law to commit terrorist action(s) or attempt to overthrow the balance of Soul Society. To do so is treason. It is against the law to commit murder. It is against the law to kill a Human that a Shinigami has not been ordered to kill. It is forbidden for a Shinigami to acquire or attempt to gain Hollow-like powers. It is a crime for a Shinigami to remain in the Human World longer than a certain time limit. It is against the law for the Gotei 13 to meddle in the affairs of the noble families unless the family in question breaks one of the laws of Soul Society beyond a shadow of a doubt. It is forbidden for a Shinigami to intervene in anything that is related to Hell. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ ShihÅin Kuchiki The Noble Houses of Sereitei Shiba KyÅraku The Four Noble Families carry the most weight and appear to have some influence over the governmental institutions (i.e. Central 46 Chambers) and even institutions outside of the government (i.e. Shin'Å Academy). The military (i.e. Gotei 13, KidÅ Corps & OnmitsukidÅ) have no authority to act against a noble family without evidence that their actions are treasonous to Soul Society. The four official houses of the Unofficial Roleplay are; The ShihÅin, The Kuchiki, The KyÅraku and The Shiba. All houses possess a slight bonus to their members. ShihÅin: Advanced Hakuda training available and higher potential to be able to learn ShunkÅ. The ability to shapeshift into one selected animal. Kuchiki: Advanced HohÅ(Shunpo) training available and higher potential to be able to learn Utsusemi. Kyoraku: Advanced Zanjutsu training available and higher chance to have a twin release ZanpakutÅ. Has the ability to pass down their swords to family members. Shiba: Advanced Kido training available and higher capacity for learning custom kidÅ. Can utilize Sand Magic. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Gotei 13 The Gotei 13 (è·å»·å三隊, GoteijÅ«santai; 13 Division Imperial Guards. It is the primary military branch of Soul Society and the main military organization most Shinigami join after leaving the academy. The Gotei 13 is made up of thirteen divisions, with several divisions having certain specializations. As with any army, the Gotei 13 has ranks. There are 20 ranks for officers, but no ranks for non-officers. The lower the number is, the higher the rank. The ranks and their descriptions are below, from highest to lowest in terms of strength. The Gotei 13 is an organization with a merit-based hierarchy. It has disposed of the system of rank based on seniority. Abilities are the only thing used to determine one's rank. - The Gotei 13 serves as a military force with its primary responsibilities consisting of: The defense of the Seireitei, the center of Soul Society. The deployment of Division members into enemy territory for combat operations. The deployment of Task Forces as defensive measures in the Human World. The guiding of souls to Soul Society. - The Captains of Gotei 13 1st Division Hiko Shogekiha 2nd Division Hakumei Kuchiki 3rd Division Laaniie 4th Division Aliza Phoenix 5th Division - 6th Division - 7th Division Aiden Hunter 8th Division Shiro ShihÅin 9th Division Emmell Shidow 10th Division - 11th Division Anson Shiba 12th Division - 13th Division YoshirÅ KyÅraku KidÅ Corps Metabee _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Royal Guards The Royal Guard (王属特務, ÅŒzokutokumu; translated as "Royal Special Task Force") also known as the Zero Division (零番隊, Zerobantai), is an organization that is dedicated to the protection of the Soul King, the Royal Family, and the Soul King Palace. The Royal Guard is a special organization that performs services for the Royal Family. It has a considerable amount of fighting, organizational, and executive power compared to other organizations. They are also charged with slaying Menos, though the circumstances under which they do so are unknown. Since serving the royal family is the primary purpose of the Royal Guard, they do not interfere in Gotei 13's affairs and the defense of Soul Society. They are known to do whatever is required by order of the Soul King. The Royal Guard's authority supersedes the authority of all within Soul Society. Each member of the Royal Guard have had the power of the ÅŒken imparted onto their bones by the Soul King. They also each have a city of their own at the Soul King Palace. All the members of the Royal Guard were Shinigami acknowledged by the Soul King to have made significant contributions to the history of Soul Society. - The Royal Guard serves as guardians with the primary responsibilities of: Protecting the Soul King. Protecting the Royal Family. Protecting the Royal Palace. Slaying Menos class Hollows. - Division Zero Thunder Deity Ruroki ShihÅin _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Character Application The second main objective of this thread is to collect all applications into one place for everyone's convenience. No matter what your affiliation, loyalty or purpose is - If you are a Shinigami, or even a Spirit this is where you'll drop the Applications. I will place a template in a spoiler below that I've created myself, seeing as a few have already used it feel free to utilize it as well. You are not obligated of course to use the same template, you can create your own. As long as it fulfills the purpose. To those that have already made applications I suggest you copy them over here. Yet again, you're not obligated to do so but it would be convenient to have everything - even the old things in one place. Don't make me re-do it..
  2. HUECO MUNDO The Environment Hueco Mundo is the dimension where the creatures known as Hollows and their evolved superiors titled Arrancar reside. It's a vast desert laying between the World of The Living and the Soul Society. The entire noted environment of Hueco Mundo is literally a white, endless desert. There is no dirt, there is no grass, and any and all natural water sources are nonexistent. Some may find some ruins or caves where some Hollows may have as a home along with a dead tree or two every once in a while, but for the most part, Hueco Mundo is just a white, endless desert with trees made out of a quartz-like material. Now within the great white desert, there is an anomaly called The Forest of Menos, which is a large forest of seemingly dead trees which houses a high standard Hollow population alongside the also high Menos population. It is one of the more dangerous places within this desolate realm, as the infestation of creatures living within it can easily outnumber and overwhelm any that travel within it unprepared. It is always night within Hueco Mundo, with the lunar phase of the moon always being opposite of that of The World of The Living's. The atmosphere has an unnaturally high amount of Reiastu, allowing the weaker Hollows to easily grow and survive without devouring souls. How to Reach It This dimension can NOT be accessed through known normal means, but instead through a temporary dimensional tear between worlds called a Garganta, which most Hollows learn how to create in order to reach their main food source which is the souls of the deceased. Hollows Hollows are the creatures that make up the majority of Hueco Mundo's population. They are beasts and monsters in every form of the name, and they come in shapes and forms that can vary endlessly. The only thing that one can see as a similarity in each Hollow is that each one looks like an animal in some way, and it can be said that the reason why is because of their hunger which is as endless as the white desert itself, leading the creatures to not only devour souls but each other in an attempt to satisfy this hunger. Although the appearances of a Hollow can change from creature to creature, one will know that they see one through the "mask" each one dons. The mask of a Hollow changes in shape and size, though it is always created out of a bone-like substance and it always covers the creature's face. Although a Hollow will eventually gain a form of intellect as it grows, some gain this quite early, though if one does it is almost always due to the fact that the past life of the Hollow in question was a person that had an incredibly strong desire or ambition, which would allow said person to better adapt in Hollow form to the primal desires they would gain as Hollows. Now not all Hollows actually have their need to devour as one of their top priorities. If the soul of one that holds a strong obsession over something becomes a Hollow, they may very well live in order to continue carrying out said obsession, whether it is protecting someone or something, and there is a chance that intelligent or even mindless Hollows can form groups or packs, showing that some of these creatures can hold a sense of camaraderie or loyalty. The powers of a Hollow may vary as well. When a Hollow dies, the hole it gains in return is actually symbolism of the loss of its heart. The heart of a Hollow is actually manifested in the form of the special abilities a Hollow gains. A manipulative Human can become a Hollow that has some relation to manipulation or control, for example, while a brutish or violent Human may gain a destructive yet basic special ability. Their spiritual powers are also for some reason poisonous to a Quincy to the point where if it enters their bodies it could destroy the Quincy's soul completely, though it is unknown whether or not it is a mutual relationship in this case. The "Ranks" of Hollows There are plenty of "ranks" or classes of Hollows, with the weakest kind being just the standard or basic Hollow. These creatures are usually mindless beings acting exactly like a general predator would act, stalking, tracking, attacking, or dominating others until they have absorbed through devouring others enough power in order to evolve into a stronger class than before. The next rank up would be a Hollow labeled as a "Menos". A Menos is a single entity consisted of the combination of even hundreds of Hollows all mashing up and attacking each other, creating an event of which they will mold together into the creature titled as a Menos, a Hollow that is classified as far stronger than a standard one. The name of the result from this mashup of Hollows is a Gillian, and usually A Gillian, or a Menos Grande, as it is most commonly known, is the weakest form of the Menos classification. In pathetic Human terms, they would be the "footsoldiers" of the Hollows. There are many of them and they nearly all look alike. They look like huge monsters, easily standing at 2-6 stories tall, which is larger than even the largest of Hollows, and they all have white masks with elongated noses and a long black cloak with large, bandaged white feet and white hands with long, sharp nails. Even their tongues are capable of breaking a Hollow's mask, and even though any Captain-level Shinigami can destroy them with ease, they could prove a challenge for a lieutenant-level. They attack in groups and travel to and from the Human world through the use of an ability called Kumon(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/K%C5%ABmon). Their signature skills are Cero, Kumon, and Negacion. They have no personalities nor do they have any intellect higher than that of a beasts, making for one of the many Hollows contained within the Gillian's being capable of taking it over, causing it to form a new, unique mask, which is when they are able to have the chance to become an Adjuchas class Hollow through cannibalizing other Hollows, even Gillians. The Gillian's name typically means "Lowest Great Hollow" through the use of the name given to it in Japanese. The Adjuchas class Menos, whose Japanese name means "Intermediate Great Hollow", is the second class of the Menos. They are smaller and far fewer in number than the Gillians, though they are also more intelligent and powerful than a Gillian as well. An Adjuchas is a solitary creature, with them rarely creating groups, though they have the ability to be able to challenge an average Captain to battle. Their appearances can vary greatly between bulky Humanoids to animal-like forms such as Grimmjow's Adjuchas form. Their signature abilities are the Cero, Garganta, and their own individual powers and abilities. An Adjuchas is in the stage in which they must devour more Hollows or else the other Hollows within its mind will take over, reverting its form back into a Gillian permanently. Both the evolution and the de-evolution of an Adjuchas is stopped should any piece of them be bitten off by another Hollow. The Vasto Lorde is the strongest classification of Menos. Their Japanese names means "Highest Great Hollow" and they are the cream of the crop. They are the highest level of evolution and the strongest non-Arrancar Hollows in Hueco Mundo. They are roughly the same size as Humans in form and the number of Vasto Lordes that actually exist can be counted on one's hands, making them the rarest Hollows to exist as well. The combative capabilities of a Vasto Lorde ranks above that of the average Captain, making them incredibly high threats when they appear. It is quoted in the canon Bleach universe that if more than ten Vasto Lorde Hollow were to appear under the command of Aizen, the Soul Society would be doomed. Due to their rarity, not much is actually known about the Vasto Lordes other than that they are extremely powerful and extremely rare. Available Powers of a Hollow Soul-Body Separation- In order to prevent abuse with this ability the ability of Soul-Body Separation can only be used after the opponent is defeated with the permission of the opponent. It is basically a technique in which a Hollow can force a person to separate their body and soul, where the soul would still be attached to the body via Chain of Fate meaning it can still be saved should the Hollow not devour it. Now with stronger Hollows, they have their own unique powers and abilities which they may use in unison or as a replacement of these general abilities, but these are the general abilities each Hollow could learn or even specialize in. A Hollow gains the energy to use these abilities via having devoured other souls, though smaller Hollows could get their energy from the nourishment of the atmosphere when in realms with a high concentration of Spiritual energy, such as Hueco Mundo. Acidic Touch- When a Hollow grabs a Human, the spot grabbed is burned as if acid was poured on it. These wounds allow the Hollows Reiatsu to seep into the person, causing the victim great pain and suffering. These wounds can heal if given enough time and it is currently unknown if it works on Shinigami and other Spiritual beings. Cero(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Cero)- A Cero is a highly powerful technique which can be described as a powerful and swift energy blast which can be fired from various body parts, such as the mouth, tongue, fingers, or hands. Only the Menos class Hollows, Arrancar, and Visored have been witnessed using it. With the exception of a few Cero Techniques and users, and that means a rare few, the Cero requires time to be used efficiently, thus requiring a disabled, non-attentive, or still enemy in order to be able to fire it accurately and make it hit. Garganta(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Garganta)- A Garganta is a means of teleportation to and from Hueco Mundo. Through creating a tear between dimensions, a Hollow can travel to and from their own location to another, allowing them to be able to enter The World of The Living where they can stalk and devour souls or even living beings. It is overall ineffective in combat though, as after it is opened one would have to first solidify the whirling torrential energy so they can create an actual pathway. Negacion(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Negaci%C3%B3n)- It is essentially a process of which a field is generated in order to save other Hollows. Only Gillian class or Menos Grande level Hollows have been seen using it and Espada hold a cube-shaped device called Caja Negacion, which generates a Negacion field used to trap or punish their subordinates. High Speed Regeneration(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/High-Speed_Regeneration)- I worry when I include this, as I know there are some that wish to instantly have released Ulquiorra's level of regeneration at even the levels of a standard Hollow. High Speed Regeneration is the ability to regenerate one's wounds quickly with the exceptions of the destruction of the head or any vital organs. Essentially no Arrancar even have the level of High Speed Regeneration Ulqiorra had, and usually using it would cost energy or stamina. Most Arrancar and Hollows also sacrifice using this ability in order to gain more power, making them unable to use it at all. *Kumon is not included due to it being Menos Grande only, with not even a device version of it being available. *If anyone abuses High Speed Regeneration to the point of bullshit they will be executed. *Abuse of Soul-Body Separation will result in immediate execution. *There is no more tolerance for abuse of High Speed Regeneration at all. Any offenders of it will be swarmed. The Government of Hueco Mundo There is no truly established government in Hueco Mundo. Within this world built for the weak to wither away and die and for the strong to strive and grow more powerful the strong are the leaders. Only the strongest within this realm can be called a leader or a king, and even then the strong will have to watch out, for surely with more power comes more greedy usurpers waiting to snatch it for themselves. The weak or those that haven't gained enough strength to be considered strong usually dwell beneath the sandy surface or remain somewhere away from the open. LAS NOCHES The Environment Las Noches, which is Spanish for "The Nights" and the Japanese name of it is "Hollow Night Palace", is a literal fortress. It is the crown of Hueco Mundo and while in the past it was the home of armies of Hollows, today it is the home of only Arrancar. It is equipped with its own detention centers and medical wings and the main building has a domed ceiling, the ceiling of which currently is cracked and shattered from the recent invasion by the Neo-Reich. This massive fortress can be seen for miles, and it consists of a main building with a domed center surrounded by several large towers and smaller buildings. Atop the dome are five smaller towers, which contains areas such as the Espada meeting hall. The main building is colored white. It is a large structure, even as large in not larger than the Sereitei in the Soul Society. Inside the dome of the main building is a simulated sky made to appear the same as The World of The Living. Due to their immense power, Espada ranked four and above are forbidden from releasing their blades within Las Noches, and they are also forbidden from using Gran Rey Cero within Las Noches as well. The different noted parts of Las Noches can be seen here (http://bleach.wikia....wiki/Las_Noches). Arrancar The Arrancar are the elite of Hueco Mundo. They are essentially the more Humanlike form of Hollows, creatures that have tore off their masks in order to gain power at the cost of said power being sealed into their own blades. Their names mean "To Tear Off", in order to symbolize this painful process that is a gamble between them becoming Arrancar or failed Arrancar called Imperfect Arrancar. The government that lies within Los Noches is ruled by Arrancar, whom of which label themselves as Espada and Fraccion. Imperfect Arrancar are still more powerful than Hollows, though they're weaker than standard Arrancar. They are, in all sense of the word, failures. An Imperfect Arrancar is one that gains power, takes the gamble of ripping off their mask, and fails, leaving them as scarred Hollows that have gained more power, though lost the potential to gain even more as a result, not to mention they end up becoming more beast-like in appearance instead of more human-like, with their faces still retaining Human shape. Government Los Noches and, to an extent, Hueco Mundo is ruled by the Espada. The Espada, or otherwise known as the Ten Blades, are the top ranked and most powerful Arrancar around. When one is an Espada they are the top of the food chain, the apex predators of Hueco Mundo. Each Espada is recognized through a tattoo placed somewhere on their bodies, the numbers ranging from zero to nine. Each Espada can place a number of Numeros under their command. This is called a Fraccion. There is a hierarchy among the Espada, where higher ranked members can give orders to the lower ranked members. Each Espada has their own quarters in Los Noches that suits their tastes, whether it is a palace, a tower, a meditation room, etc, each quarters an Espada owns suits their needs or represents them in some way. The Fraccion are Arrancar that serve a specific Espada. Their numbers can very from one to many, and generally they are seen as above your average Numeros. The Numeros are Arrancar that were recently developed from Hollows and given a two digit number starting from eleven. The number doesn't indicate the strength of the Numeros, but their birth. The Exequias are an execution division responsible for executing any rebels or intruders that are in Los Noches. In a way they are a police force of sorts. The Espada follow two rules on top of any other rules or laws that may be established: 1) The Espada ranked fourth and higher must not release their Zanpakuto within Los Noches. 2) No Espada are allowed to discharge a Gran Ray Cero within Los Noches. Available Powers of an Arrancar Bala(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Bala): A faster though weaker version of the Cero. It can be described as a technique where hardened Spiritual Pressure is fired. Descorrer(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Descorrer): Technique used by Espada level Arrancar in order to open a void between the Living World and Hueco Mundo, thus creating a Garganta. Hierro(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Hierro): A passive ability of which an Arrancar's outer skin can serve as armor. Pesquisa(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Pesquisa): Arrancar's ability to measure and locate Reiatsu. Ressureccion(http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/Resurrecci%C3%B3n): Releasing the core of an Arrancar's ability sealed in their ZanpakutŠto regain the original powers of their Hollow form. They often take on a form closer to a Hollow than a Human after performing Resurrección. It is basically the Bankai of an Arrancar. Sonido(https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwi7odfOypvKAhWJ0xoKHasdB_IQFggjMAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fbleach.wikia.com%2Fwiki%2FSon%25C3%25ADdo&usg=AFQjCNF8Pnc_HvHIMC-XVA62iF8Q7V4Xzw&sig2=1pBE3jQW4bXJQt4ZeaP32w): Basically the Arrancar's Flash Step(Shunpo). Special Notes: SEGUNDA ETAPA IS RARE TO THE POINT WHERE AT THE MOST THREE ARRANCAR SHOULD HAVE IT, AND EVEN THEN NO ONE SHOULD IMMEDIATELY SPAWN IN A CHARACTER KNOWING IT Feel free to post bios/apps below. Please don't post any memes or ooc comments, instead direct anything relating to the description to me in the PMs or IMs. Post them down below then you're pretty much labeling yourself as an imbecile that can't even follow directions, or a cunt, it honestly depends on who you are. On top of that I'll be drinking a bleach martini every time you do as well. Roster:
